    摘要: To satisfy a required processing speed and achieve the maximum power-saving effect in a microprocessor. A control value is calculated by performing proportional and integral processing on a deviation of a target instruction execution number from a measured instruction execution number. Unification processing or unification cancellation processing is performed in accordance with the control value. The unification processing stops supply of clocks to selected pipeline registers and controls the pipeline such that a signal passes through the pipeline registers so as to reduce the number of stages of the pipeline. The unification cancellation processing resumes the supply of clocks to the selected pipeline registers and controls the pipeline such that the pipeline registers latch the signal in synchronism with the clocks so as to increase the number of stages of the pipeline. The frequency of clocks supplied to the pipeline registers is changed in accordance with the changed number of stages.

    摘要: It is sought to provide an indicator lamp, which is excellent not only in short distance visual recognition property but also in long distance one, as well as being further excellent in sight field angle property.An indicator lamp includes a light-emitting element 1 and a light-emitting element lens 2 having a light-emitting element mounting cavity 3 formed at the bottom, in which the light-emitting element disposed in the cavity 3 emits light to be fully reflected by the peripheral surface of the lens 1 and proceeds as emission light flux forwardly of the lens 1. The slope angle of the peripheral surface with respect to the lens axis is reduced progressively from the bottom toward the lens front surface 5 in three stages, thus forming circumferential corners 7 and 8 as boundaries between adjacent ones of the three stages. The circumferential corners scatter light emitted from the light emitting element 2 to provide concentric emission light fluxes as viewed from the side of the lens front.

    摘要: A storage capacitor is constituted by a storage capacitor electrode, made of a transparent and conductive film extending substantially all over a substrate, and pixel electrodes overlapping with the storage capacitor electrode via an interlevel insulation layer. The storage capacitor holds charges. The storage capacitor electrode is positioned such that it faces the entire surface of the pixel electrodes. Since the transparent and conductive storage capacitor electrode does not reduce the aperture ratio, the storage capacitor can have a large capacitance. A signal voltage applied to the storage capacitor electrode is determined so as not to activate the thin film transistors which are not selected. A light-shielding layer is present at a position between pixel electrodes on or under the storage capacitor electrode. The light-shielding layer shields the thin film transistors, gate lines and drain lines from incident light, thereby preventing reduction of contrast of displayed pictures. Further, an anti-reflection layer formed by heat treatment is placed on a boundary between the storage capacitor electrode and the light-shielding layer, and is effective in assuring visibility of the picture on the liquid crystal display.
