摘要: A vehicle (1) comprises a passenger compartment (2) in which a front seat (32F), a rear seat (32R), and a floor (33) between the front seat (32F) and the rear seat (38R) are provided. A first group (S1) of batteries (3) is mounted under the front seat (32F), a second group (S2) of the batteries (3) is mounted under the floor (33), and a third group (S3) of the batteries (3) is mounted under a rear seat (32R). By setting a height (h2) of the second group (S2) of the batteries (3) to be lower than respective heights (h1, h3) of the first and third groups (S1, S3) of the batteries (3), a battery mounting capacity of the vehicle (1) can be increased without affecting the comfort of the passenger compartment (2).

The layout of the connection control device (35a, 35b, 36a, 36b, 36d, 36e) is thereby optimized and the length of a harness (34) can be shortened.

摘要: A front exhaust pipe is connected to a front engine block, and a rear exhaust pipe is connected to a rear engine block. The front exhaust pipe extends from the front engine block downward, and curves and extends rearward. The rear exhaust pipe includes an upstream portion extending downward from a rear portion of the engine and a downstream portion extending forward from a lower end of the upstream portion and curving rearward. Rear ends of the front and rear exhaust pipes are joined together and connected to a main exhaust pipe. The rear and front exhaust pipe have substantially the same length. Therefore, vibration due to a difference between natural frequencies of front and rear exhaust pipes is reduced, and sound vibration performance is enhanced. Further, a declination of output due to disorder of exhaust pulsation in the confluence portion of the front and rear exhaust pipes is avoided.

A first battery unit (38F) comprising a plurality of batteries (3) stacked in a vertical direction and a second battery unit (38R) comprising a plurality of batteries (3) stacked in a vehicle transverse direction are provided. By arranging a layout of the first battery unit (38F) and the second battery unit (38R) considering the location of an electric equipment (12, 13, 14) to which the batteries (3) supply power as well as the location of passenger seats (32F, 32R), the weight balance of the vehicle (1) in the front-aft direction can be optimized.

Extension parts extend rearwardly from respective rearward ends of the side members, a forward cross member is located substantially at a forward end of the side members and above the rear suspension members, and a rearward cross member is located substantially at a rearward end of the side members and above the rear suspension members. The electrical system unit is fixedly attached to the top of at least one of the forward cross member or the rearward cross member.

摘要: A rear vehicle structure has an electrical system unit, two side members, two extension parts, two cross members, a rear seat and a cover. The electrical system unit includes first and second electrical system units. Each extension part extends rearwardly from one of the rearward ends of one of the side members. The cross members are located above rear suspension members of the vehicle. The electrical system unit is fixedly attached to a top of at least one of the cross members. The rear seat is installed forward of the first electrical system unit. The second electrical system unit is located along a rearward surface of the rear seat. The cover is installed rearward of the second electrical system unit and has an upright panel that is oriented vertically to provide an enclosed space between a rearward surface of the second electrical system unit and the cover.
