Abstract:
A high-pressure washing device (1) includes a nozzle (31). The nozzle (31) is configured to eject a high-pressure cleaning liquid. The cleaning liquid ejected from the nozzle (31) has a pulsation pressure. A variation rate of the pulsation pressure is more than or equal to 20%.
Abstract:
A fluid fitting of an embodiment mainly includes a socket part, a spherical valve inserted in the socket part, and a plug part configured to be inserted at a tip portion thereof into the spherical valve. Moreover, the plug part is fixed in the direction of turn by engaging an expanded-diameter portion of the plug part with a recess of the socket part. Thus, the plug part is prevented from being detached from the socket part while the fluid fitting is in use.
Abstract:
A system and method of assembling flanged duct sections, using large sheet metal screws through opposing inserted corner plates. The large screws are threadedly inserted fully through the corner plates of a first duct section and hold perpendicular thereto for guiding alignment with the mating duct section. The screws hold the duct sections apart to allow aligning them without fluid sealant or tape gasket material on one of the duct sections contacting the other. The screws are then threadedly engaged with the corner plates of the mating duct section, bringing the duct sections together with a leak resistant seal therebetween. Optional hanger brackets can be placed between the corner plates before assembly, and additional screws used to deform the flanges and corner plates about the brackets to compress the sealant or gasket thereabout.
Abstract:
A turbine shroud for incorporation in a turbine of a gas turbine engine has a plurality of butted shroud segments circumferentially arrayed to form a ring. Each of the shroud segments has an arcuate main shroud body portion, a radially inward extending annular flange attached to a first end of the main body portion, and a radially outward extending flange with a plurality of mounting apertures attached to a second end of the main shroud body portion. A first mounting aperture is sized smaller than an adjacent second mounting aperture in the radially outward extending flange.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a method of welding a gasket to a spigot portion of a pipe section. The method includes supporting the gasket in a recess on the spigot portion of the pipe section. The gasket includes a seating portion and a sealing portion. The sealing portion includes a first shoulder portion and a second shoulder portion. A first bonding portion extends from the first shoulder portion and a second bonding portion extends from the second shoulder portion. The first bonding portion and the second bonding portion are provided to bond the gasket to the spigot portion. The method further includes heating a portion of the gasket and an adjacent surface of the spigot portion and applying a force onto the portion of the gasket following the application of heat to fuse the gasket onto the spigot portion.
Abstract:
A piping component according to an embodiment comprises a connecting tube. The connecting tube connects a first piping unit and a second piping unit to be attachable to or detachable from each other, thereby forming one pipe. The connecting tube has a first connection surface to be connected to the first piping unit. The first connection surface is inclined relative to a plane orthogonal to central axis directions of the pipe.
Abstract:
Substrate processing uniformity is improved in the surfaces of wafers and between the wafers. A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device, including: loading a substrate holder into an inner tube, the substrate holder holding a plurality of substrates in a state where the plurality of substrates are horizontally oriented and stacked; forming thin films on the plurality of substrates by supplying a source gas to an inside of the inner tube; and unloading the substrate holder from the inner tube, wherein the forming the thin films is performed in a state where a conductance of a space between an inner wall of the inner tube and a gas penetration preventing cylinder is smaller than a conductance of a region where the plurality of substrates are stacked.
Abstract:
A threaded joint for pipes comprises a pin and a box, each having a threaded and unthreaded portion metal contact surface. The unthreaded metal contact portion includes a sealing surface and a shoulder surface, the shoulder surface of the pin located on the pin end surface. A non-contacting region where the pin and the box do not contact each other exists between the sealing surfaces and the shoulder surfaces of the pin and the box. One or more grooves is formed in at least one of the pin and the box shoulder surfaces and extending to the non-contacting region and to the interior of the joint. At least one of the contact surfaces has a solid lubricating coating exhibiting plastic or viscoplastic rheological behavior. A total volume V (mm3) of the grooves and coating weight W (g) of the solid lubricating coating satisfy the equation V/W≧24 (mm3/g).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a tongue-and-groove coupling between panels of self-supporting air-conditioning ducts and the like, of the type that is provided in order to establish an optimum fit of the canted edge corresponding to the panels that are coupled in a tongue-and-groove manner, and also, to avoid the air coming into contact with the core of the duct therein. To this end, the panels consist of a core of insulating material complemented by an outer layer and inner layer based on aluminum or some other coating, the juxtaposing canted edge or edge between the panels having an oblique cut in relation to the horizontality or longitudinal intermediate line in the joint between the two panels; the aluminum layer or coating, which determines the inner face of the duct, extending beyond the edge of the panel, and being fixed to the oblique surface that defines the coupling profile.
Abstract:
A connector comprises: a connector body comprising an inlet end and an outlet end with a bore extending therethrough, the connector body further comprising a leading end portion positioned at the inlet end and a threaded portion at the outlet end of the connector body and a connector main body portion positioned between the leading end portion and the threaded portion; a generally annular bearing case having a tapered surface positioned in the leading end portion of the connector body, the bearing case formed with at least one recess and wherein the tapered surface has a hollow portion therein and includes a bearing case axis; and at least one locking element positioned in the at least one recess of the bearing case and movable along the bearing case axis.
