    摘要: An adapter includes several connecting nozzles. Free nozzle ends of the connecting nozzles are adapted to be connected to line ends of fluid lines. The adapter includes, for guiding flowing fluid in and then out, two mutually separated, tubular flow channels. Moreover, the adapter includes a projection, which extends from the nozzle end with a length to a free projection end remote therefrom. A fluid line system formed by means of the adapter comprises, furthermore, a fluid line with, enveloped by a wall, a lumen. The fluid line can be connected with its line end to the connecting nozzle of the adapter in such a manner that the projection protrudes inwardly into the lumen of the fluid line to form two tubular chambers of the fluid line mutually separated by the projection and adapted for guiding through flowing fluid.

    摘要: A method for connecting sections of a multi-bore structure in water comprises connecting the sections to bring corresponding bores of the sections into mutual alignment while those bores are each closed by a plug that excludes the water from the bores. Then, with the sections connected and the corresponding bores sealed together in fluid communication with each other, the plugs are flushed away in a flushing fluid that flows along the communicating bores.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides flanged joint or interface between two passageways. The flanged joint includes a first passageway, a connector, and a second passageway. The first passageway may, but not necessarily, be formed via casting process wherein an integrated flange may be defined at the opening of the first passageway such that the integrated flange defines a recess.     摘要: An exhaust conduit for a marine exhaust system includes an inlet end portion connectable to an exhaust manifold, an outlet end portion that directs exhaust gases toward an exhaust system outlet, a catalytic converter assembly arranged between the inlet and outlet end portions, and inner and outer tubes. The inner tube directs exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter assembly, and the outer tube surrounds the inner tube to define a cooling liquid passage between the inner and outer tubes. A flange is secured to the inner and outer tubes at inlet ends thereof, the flange being connectable to an outlet of the exhaust manifold. The inner tube has a uniform diameter between the flange and the catalytic converter assembly, and is welded to the flange independently of the outer tube. First and second welds join the inner and outer tubes to the flange at radially inner and outer faces, respectively, of a flange rim.
