    摘要: A mobile flanging machine for pipes has a portable frame on which a drive is mounted, which drives a roller via a transmission, and an adjustment mechanism fixed to the frame, on which a counter-pressure roller is movably held, wherein a bent flange can be produced on the pipe end by inserting a pipe end into a gap between the roller and the counterpressure roller. A method for assembling the mobile flanging machine involves transporting and setting up a frame with a rotatably mounted roller and an adjustment mechanism on which a counterpressure roller is movably held, transporting a drive with a first coupling part to the frame, connecting the first coupling part to a second coupling part for driving the roller, and fixing the drive to the frame.

A fastening collar is formed to the end of the tubular piece by shaping the end of the tubular piece in a first step by means of a first rotatable shaping head and a counter-surface to a first angle, and in a second step by means of a second rotatable shaping head and a counter-surface to a second angle. The outermost end of a flange part shaped in the first step is shaped in the second step in such a manner that only part of the flange part formed in the first step is shaped into a support surface that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tubular piece.

    摘要: A steering roller head for hemming or seaming metal sheets includes a mounting flange that couples to an arm of a robot. The mounting flange is offset from a longitudinal axis of the steering roller head to reduce an operating envelope of the robot arm during a roller hemming process. The mounting flange can also be offset by a mounting angle from the longitudinal axis which allows for a further reduction in an operating envelope of the robot arm during a roller hemming process. Reducing the operating envelope of the robot arm can allow for additional robots or automated tooling to access the work piece during a roller hemming process. In addition, reducing the operating envelope of the robot arm allows for improved access to the work piece during a roller hemming process.

    摘要: A crimping machine including a first shaft having a first crimping portion and a bead wheel and a second shaft having a tapered portion disposed opposite the bead wheel of the first shaft. The first and second shafts are configured to grip a pipe blank having a transverse channel including a first angle. The first and second shafts are further configured to roll the pipe blank forward while crimping a portion of the pipe blank with the first and second crimping portions and applying pressure on the transverse channel of the pipe blank. The crimping machine further has having a tapered portion disposed opposite at least a portion of the crimping portion and the bead wheel of the first shaft. The bead wheel is configured to push upon the forming shaft to bend the first angle of the transverse channel formed in the pipe blank to a second angle.
