Abstract: Disclosed in the present application is a high-strength seamless steel tube resistant to carbon dioxide corrosion. In addition to containing Fe and inevitable impurities, the seamless steel tube comprises the following chemical elements in mass percentage: C: 0.05-0.18%, Si: 0.15-0.40%, Mn: 0.25-0.50%, Cr: 4.0-6.0%, Mo: 0.08-0.35%, Al: 0.020-0.055%, Ca: 0.001-0.004%; and one or more elements selected from Ti, Nb, V, Ce, and La, wherein 0.003%≤Ti+Nb+V+Ce+La≤0.20%. Also disclosed in the present application is a manufacturing method for the seamless steel tube. The method comprises the following steps: (1) manufacturing a tube billet; (2) subjecting the tube billet to heating, perforating, hot rolling, and sizing to obtain a hot-rolled tube; and (3) subjecting the hot-rolled tube to a quenching and tempering heat treatment: quenching within a temperature range of 860-940° C. for 15-120 min, and then tempering within a temperature range of 520-620° C. for 30-150 min.

Abstract: A method for piercing a titanium alloy solid billet, the method including: 1) providing a Mannesmann rotary piercer including two rollers, a feed channel, a plurality of centering devices, and a mandril including a plug; fixing the mandril using the plurality of centering devices, where the Mannesmann rotary piercer has a feeding angle of 6-18°, a cross angle of 15°, and a roll speed of 30-90 rpm; 2) heating a titanium alloy solid billet to 930-990° C.; 3) transferring the titanium alloy solid billet to the feed channel of the Mannesmann rotary piercer; and 4) aligning the titanium alloy solid billet with the plug of the mandril, and driving the titanium alloy solid billet to pass through the plug of the mandril, thereby piercing the titanium alloy solid billet and yielding a titanium alloy tube.

Abstract: A method disclosed herewith is a method for producing a first seamless metal tube with a first wall thickness and a second seamless metal tube with a second wall thickness by using a three-roll-type inclined rolling mill, and the method includes a first inclination rolling step (#5), a setting changing step (#10), and a second inclination rolling step (#15). At the first inclination rolling step, a first workpiece is rolled by the inclined rolling mill. At the setting changing step, a setup condition of the inclined rolling mill is changed in a manner (a) or (b) as described below. At the second inclined rolling step, a second workpiece is rolled by the inclined rolling mill under the changed condition. (a) When the second wall thickness is smaller than the first wall thickness, the cross angle of each of the inclined rolls is made greater than the cross angle set for the first inclination rolling step. (b) When the second wall thickness is larger than the first wall thickness, the cross angle of each of the inclined rolls is made smaller than the cross angle set for the first inclination rolling step.

Abstract: A method for producing a seamless metal pipe includes the steps of: preparing a billet having a diameter (B); heating the billet; forming, in a center part of a rear end of the heated billet, a hole including four grooves extending in an axial direction of the billet, the grooves each having a groove width (D) satisfying Formula (1), a groove height (H) satisfying Formula (2), and a groove depth (L1) satisfying Formula (3); and subjecting the billet provided with the hole to piercing-rolling from a front end thereof by means of a piercing machine. Abstract: A method for manufacturing a bainite high-strength seamless steel tube, comprising the following steps: smelting, manufacturing a billet, heating, perforating, rolling, stretch reducing or sizing to obtain tube, and cooling. In the cooling step, the quenching starting temperature is controlled to be at least 20° C. higher than the Ar3 temperature of the steel grade; the finish cooling temperature is controlled to be within a range between T1 and T2, where T1=519-423 C-30.4Mn, T2=780-270 C-90Mn, and the units of the T1 and the T2 are ° C.; in the formulas, C and Mn respectively represent the mass percents of element C and element Mn of the steel grade, the content of the element C is 0.06-0.2%, and the content of the element Mn is 1-2.5%; the cooling rate is controlled to be 15-80° C./s; and the finished product of the bainite high-strength seamless steel tube is directly obtained after the cooling step. The manufacturing of a bainite high-strength seamless steel tube using the method requires neither the addition of precious alloying elements nor the subsequent heat treatment. Therefore the production costs are low.

Abstract: An apparatus line for manufacturing seamless steel pipes and tubes includes: a heating apparatus for heating a steel raw material; a piercing apparatus for piercing the heated steel raw material thus forming a hollow material; and a rolling apparatus for applying working to the hollow material to form a seamless steel pipe having a predetermined shape. A cooling apparatus is arranged on an exit side of the rolling apparatus. A heated steel raw material is worked by the rolling apparatus after being pierced by the piercing apparatus, and thereafter, using a surface temperature of a hollow piece before being cooled by the cooling apparatus as a cooling start temperature, the hollow piece is cooled to a cooling stop temperature differing by 50° C. or more from the cooling start temperature and being equal to or above 600° C. at an average cooling speed of 1.0° C./s or more in terms of an outer surface temperature.
