    摘要: A threaded tubular connection includes a pin having external threads, a pin seal surface, and a pin torque shoulder at a free end and a box for receiving the pin, the box having internal threads for interacting with the pin threads, a box seal surface for contacting the pin seal surface and a box torque shoulder for contacting the pin torque shoulder. The pin and box define a longitudinal axis. The pin torque shoulder has a first pin shoulder surface and a second pin shoulder surface, the first pin shoulder surface intersects an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis at a first angle and the second pin shoulder surface intersects the perpendicular axis at a second angle. The box torque shoulder has a first box shoulder surface and a second box shoulder surface. The first box shoulder surface intersects an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis at a third angle and the second box shoulder surface intersects the perpendicular axis at a fourth angle.

    摘要: A multilateral junction comprising a y-block, lateral legs, and a transition sub for use in downhole well environments. The y-block includes a main bore and lateral bores with main bore and the lateral bores having threaded interfaces. The transition sub also includes lateral bores with threaded interfaces for receiving the lateral legs that also have threaded interfaces. The threaded interfaces of the lateral bore of the y-block has a less number of threads than the threaded interfaces of the lateral bores of the transition sub. The lateral leg includes another threaded interface that couples with the threaded interface of the lateral bore. Another end of each lateral leg includes an interface, e.g. a threaded interface, which couples with an interface of a transition sub. The main bore has an internal diameter that is greater than the internal diameter of the lateral bore.

    摘要: An improved wellhead stuffing box device is disclosed, having a coil spring, between a loading plate and the packing members of a stuffing box, and a housing threaded over the loading plate and the coil spring onto the outer wall of the stuffing box. The loading plate is adjacent the coil spring, which applies constant pressure on the packing members, causing the packing members to bulge continuously, as they wear out, thereby maintaining a seal between the packing members and a polish rod while in operation through the life of the packing members. The loading plate may be adjusted to adjust the spring force in the coil spring. The entire assembly has an aperture through its central longitudinal axis for the polish rod to oscillate there through. Embodiments include a stuffing box with an improved stuffing box cap.

    摘要: Float collar equipment can be bonded to an inside of a casing string via an adhesive. An annulus can be located around an outside of a float collar housing and the inside of the casing string where the adhesive can be injected. The float collar housing does not require external threads or packers to secure the housing to the inside of the casing string. An injection sub can be used to inject the adhesive into the annulus. After curing or drying, the adhesive bonds the housing to the casing string. A seat, seat housing, or float shoe nose can be attached to the float collar housing via an adhesive or threads. The float collar housing can house one or more float assemblies. The float collar equipment can be bonded to the casing string at a wellsite or remote location prior to use in a cementing operation.

The radial shock absorber has a piston with a piston axis. A portion of the piston extends to an exterior of the body. The piston can move along the piston axis between a retracted position and an extended position. In addition, a spring is located between the body and the piston. The spring can bias the piston, along the piston axis, radially outward relative to the longitudinal axis of the body.
