A plurality of ventilation members are attached to the air inlet and the air outlet thereof. Each ventilation member defines a number of ventilation holes of a certain size calculated to keep EMI out. A coated layer formed on an inner surface of the air duct to shield electromagnetic waves which may be generated by the electrical components of the device.

    摘要: A semi-rigid, flexible duct including a pair of coaxial sleeves, namely an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve disposed parallel to and about the inner sleeve and a resilient wound element disposed between the sleeves. Each of the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve includes a first layer having metallic properties and at least one of them further includes a second, plastic layer bonded to the first layer. The wound element imparts corrugations to the two sleeves, such that the duct is extendible between a compacted configuration suitable for storage and for shipping and an extended configuration suitable for installation in a gas transport arrangement. All of the layers of both the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve are of a thickness predetermined to together render the duct substantially rigid when in an extended configuration and predetermined to together enable the duct to maintain its substantial rigidity upon extension from a compacted configuration.

    摘要: The invention relates to an insulation system for pipes, containers, ventilation ducts and like installation parts which have an outer surface temperature which periodically is below the dew point of the ambient air. The insulation system comprises a thermally insulating layer and a vapour barrier arranged on one side of the thermally insulating layer. The insulation system has a hygroscopic material which is arranged between the vapour barrier and the thermally insulating layer, which hygroscopic material is at least partially connected with the vapour barrier. A combination of the vapour barrier and the hygroscopic material is connected with the thermally insulating layer in such a manner that the hygroscopic material partially makes contact with the thermally insulating layer.

    摘要: A multi-layer duct for distributing air in air conditioning systems for vehicles, in particular for aircrafts, includes at least one layer of a prepreg of resin reinforced with glass fibre fabric and at least one layer of a prepreg of resin reinforced with a hybrid fabric of glass and carbon fibres. The layers are superimposed coaxially. A fixing element is also provided for securing an air distribution duct to the structure of an aircraft, having a saddle-shaped body comprising a base portion for fixing to the structure of the aircraft. The base portion is connected to a pair of arms having respective curved portions at their free ends for fixing by adhesive to the external surface of the duct. The curved portions are shaped so as to mate with the surface of the duct.
