The tape assembly includes two adhesive layers with associated carrier and release layers in conjunction with a differential release system. Various methods of use are also described, including a method of forming a securable insulation jacket.

摘要: A pipe clamp has a continuously extending, circularly shaped resilient strip comprising a plurality of outwardly extending nub members. Each of the nub members is separated from each adjacent nub member by intervening pipe gripping sections. The clamp is configured to circumscribe and be compelled against the surface of the pipe by means of the spring like nature of the strip and attached to the pipe by end clips. When pipe insulation encircles the pipe and is positioned on the nub members, the pipe insulation is in spaced relation to the pipe surface and a vapor barrier is formed between the insulation and pipe surface. As insulation is never in contact with the surfaces of the pipe, any “pipe sweat” will not be absorbed by the insulation.

摘要: Provided is an insulation product, optionally in a tubular form, that includes a coated foam insulation layer, where the foam insulation layer has a closed-cell structure. The coating can comprise a thermoplastic elastomer that seamlessly covers and is bonded to an outer surface of the elastomeric foam layer in the absence of an adhesive bonding material to protect the foam insulation layer, e.g., during outdoor insulation applications. A pipe where the insulation product is installed is also provided, as is a method of installing the insulation product, and a method of producing the insulation product.

摘要: A tube assembly that may be for a fuel nozzle of a fuel system of a gas turbine engine may have a first tube defining a first flowpath along a centerline, a second tube generally spaced radially outward from the first tube with a first void located between and defined by the first and second tubes, and a support structure located in the first void and extending between the first and second tubes. The support structure is constructed and arranged to minimize or eliminate thermal conduction between the tubes. The entire assembly may be additive manufactured as one unitary piece. One example of a method of operation may include designed-for breakage of the structural support due to thermal stresses thereby further minimizing thermal conduction between tubes.
