摘要: Flex duct systems have a flex duct having a wire-reinforced core and first and second hollow connector ends threaded to one each of ends of the wire-reinforced core. Each connector end has a plurality of locking tabs. A boot, a saddle trunk, or a linking connector each have a plurality of sleeves each protruding radially outward and positioned to releasably, attachably receive one of the plurality of locking tabs for a fluid tight connection therewith.

摘要: An acoustically absorptive system for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a panel assembly. The panel assembly includes at least one acoustic absorptive member and a porous housing disposed about the at least one acoustic absorptive member such that a porous layer of the housing covers the at least one acoustic absorptive member at opposing faces of the panel assembly. A mounting assembly positions the panel assembly in a chamber of the HVAC system such that a gap is defined between a rear surface of the panel assembly and a wall of the chamber, the mounting assembly including one or more channels attached to the chamber.

摘要: A pipe insulation product including a core of insulating material and a laminate surrounding the core and bonded to the core. The core may include an outer surface; an inner surface; and a wall extending between the outer and inner surfaces. The laminate may include a foil or metallized polymeric film sheet, a scrim, a porous media sheet, and a polymeric film sheet bonded together via an adhesive. The laminate may include a closure flap that is configured to adhesively seal opposite ends of the laminate together to form a cylindrical tube with the core enclosed therein. The closure flap may be configured to include a curl that provides a greater closure flap adhesive seal.

摘要: A reference microphone for detecting noise is located under a first duct. The noise is in the form of a first plane wave in the first duct. A speaker is located on a top of the first duct. Connected to an upper part of the first duct is a second duct including an error microphone. The first plane wave in the first duct passes through an acoustic path and reaches the second duct. The error microphone detects the sound, and the speaker outputs a second plane wave with an opposite phase for canceling the first plane wave.
