摘要: A device for producing plastic pipes may include an extruder with a die head and a corrugator, into which a molten plastic tube is introduced by means of the die head to mold the plastic pipe, wherein the corrugator has a molding section, in which molding jaws are guided in pairs in the production direction. In an inlet section of the corrugator, the molding jaws are brought together to form molding jaw pairs towards the start of the molding section, and in an outlet section of the corrugator, the molding jaw pairs are moved apart from each other from the end of the molding section. The guiding apparatus has a guide and/or temperature-control element apparatus having a temperature-control medium channel apparatus through which temperature-control medium can flow, and a guide and/or temperature-control surface apparatus, which faces the outer side of the molding jaws passing through, transferring heat.

摘要: A filler tube, which is capable of satisfying required functions suitably in compliance with the bellows and non-bellows cylindrical base while securing weld strength and fuel-permeation resistance property in the weld face, is provided. A filler tube includes a non-bellows cylindrical base with a total thickness of from 2 to 4 mm, a bellows with a total thickness of from 0.5 to 3 mm, and a flange having a total thickness of from 3.5 to 5 mm, and including an end face to be welded to a fuel tank. The non-bellows cylindrical base, the bellows, and the flange include inner layers formed so as to have a thickness accounting for from 40 to 60% of the total thicknesses, and formed of high-density polyethylene (or HDPE) serving as the major constituent, intermediate layers exhibiting fuel-permeation resistance property, and outer layers protecting the intermediate layers.

摘要: In an embodiment, a long reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) in which joint portions are formed at both side edge portions and to which a reinforcing material continuously formed in the longitudinal direction is attached is supplied, and mutually adjacent joint portions are joined to each other, thereby producing a spiral pipe (S). A curl-forming apparatus (3) includes a sending roller for the reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) and a curl guide. Using the curl-forming apparatus (3), adjacent parts of the reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) are subjected to plastic deformation to form spirals by being provided with arc-like curls having a radius of curvature substantially similar to or not greater than the radius of curvature of the spiral pipe (S). Accordingly, the spiral pipe (S) can be produced while suppressing the action of a restoring force that restores the reinforcing material-attached profile strip (100) to its original radius of curvature.

摘要: A synthetic resin hose includes a corrugated tube wall and an electrically conductive wire disposed substantially straight along the axial direction of the tube wall and configured so that the whole length of the electrically conductive wire on the inner circumferential surface side thereof is covered with the tube wall and the outer circumferential side thereof is enclosedly covered with only top portions of the tube wall. A producing method of the hose comprises the steps of: using a mold assembly constituted by a pair of semicylindrical molds each having a large number of intrusion grooves formed along the axial direction in the cylindrical surface of each of the semicylindrical molds substantially at regular intervals and supplying electrically conductive wire into the hose molding mold assembly substantially linearly along the axial direction of the mold assembly; extruding a molten resin tubularly to supply the molten resin into the mold assembly after the supply of the electrically conductive wire; supplying high-pressure air into the inside of the thus extruded molten resin tube to thereby expand the molten resin tube along the corrugated surface of the mold assembly to bring the molten resin tube into contact with the corrugated surface of the mold assembly and, at the same time, making a part of the tube go around to the outer circumferential surface side of the electrically conductive wire along the intrusion grooves of the mold assembly to thereby enclose the outer circumferential side of the electrically conductive wire; cooling the molded resin tube to retain the shape of the tube; and opening the mold assembly so that a hose body integrated with the electrically conductive wire is taken out from the mold assembly.

摘要: A travelling mold has mold blocks formed by opposing mold block sections which open and close relative to one another. The mold sections travel horizontally around a continuous track which is fitted with a plurality of side-by-side mold block carriers on which the mold block sections are releasably supported. The mold block carriers are provided with carrier gears which engage with the main drive gear of the mold so that the mold is driven by engagement of the drive gear with the carriers and not the mold block sections.
