摘要: A composition including: (a) 30% to 99.8% by weight by weight of recycled material from a used single-layer and/or multilayer tube and/or tank having initially transported or contained motor vehicle fluids, the tube and/or the tank having a composition which predominantly includes at least one polyamide, the used tube and/or the used tank having been ground into granules and the fluid residues present in the tube and/or tank having been totally or partially extracted, (b) up to 70% of a semicrystalline aliphatic polyamide, (c) up to 0.2% of an additive, the polyamide of the used tube and/or the used tank having functions resulting from oxidation reactions chosen from the primary amide functions, nitriles, terminal methyl groups, alkenes, formamides, imides, carboxylic acids and alcohols and mixtures thereof, in a mole ratio greater than that of the same polyamide constituting a non-used tube and/or tank which has not yet transported or contained motor vehicle fluids.

摘要: This disclosure relates generally to corrugated pipe, and more particularly to corrugated pipe with an outer wrap. In one embodiment, a pipe includes an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests, separated by corrugation valleys. The pipe also includes an outer wrap applied to the outer wall. The outer wrap may include fibers and plastic. The outer wrap may span the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface.

The tube-forming device comprises at least one shaping sleeve, which is designed to shape a supplied stream of polymer melt from a substantially strand-like cross section into a tubular cross section. The shaping sleeve has a guiding passage embedded in the sleeve wall, such that the guiding passage is a cavity which lies within the sleeve wall and, in the radial direction of the shaping sleeve, is enclosed in a sealed manner with respect to the outer surfaces.

摘要: Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.
