    摘要: Methods, systems and data structure for storing and managing information in a wireless network are described wherein fixed resources in the system are stored in a database in a hierarchical directory structure according to the location of each fixed resource. Each level of the directory structure represents a geographical area in which a fixed resource is located. A mobile user submits a query for the location of the nearest fixed resource having certain properties. The system determines the location of the mobile user and then searches the database for the requested fixed resource that is nearest to the mobile user. When the fixed resource is identified, data regarding its location is transmitted to the mobile user. In addition, specific directions as to how to get to the location of the fixed resource from the location of the mobile user may be provided.

    摘要: A system for confirming a position of a moving terminal in a radio communication network including a plurality of base stations each corresponding to one of a plurality of individual radio areas. A moving terminal having a specific identification number is provided which includes a receiver for receiving a paging signal including the specific identification number, and a transmitter for wirelessly outputting a response signal in response to the paging signal. A first data base is provided for storing position data representing positions within the plurality of individual radio areas to which a person holding the moving terminal may visit, and base station data representing respective ones of the base stations corresponding to the positions to which the person holding the moving terminal may visit. The position data and the base station data are stored in the first data base in an associated manner with respect to the identification number of the moving terminal. A position retrieving means is provided for identifying base station data corresponding to a given one of the base stations which receives the response signal output by the moving terminal, for retrieving from the first data base corresponding position data associated with the identified base station data, and for outputting the retrieved position data as a candidate for location of the person holding the moving terminal.

    摘要: Embodiments are directed towards employing parallel satellite and wire transmissions to facilitate 5G communications. A network origination system receives, via 5G communication, a message from an origination device for distribution to a destination device. The network origination system determines a priority of the message and selects a transmission mechanism—wire transmission, satellite transmission, or parallel transmission—in which to transmit the message to the network destination system based on the priority. The network origination system transmits the message to a network destination system via the selected transmission mechanism. The network destination system forwards the message to the destination device and determines if the message is tagged for the parallel transmission. If the message is tagged for parallel transmission, the network destination system determines if the message is received via wire transmission and satellite transmission within a time window associated with a transmission time obtained from the message.
