摘要: This disclosure relates to a relay user equipment device (UE) assisting one or more remote UEs in performing a radio access network notification area (RNA) update procedure in a cellular communication system. The relay UE establishes a first relay connection with a first remote device. The first relay connection relays communications between the first remote device and a network. The relay UE transmits a first message to the network to initiate the RNA update procedure for the first remote device, receives an acknowledgment message from the network including updated connection information for the first remote device, and transmits the updated connection information to the first remote device.

摘要: A first base station receives from a second base station: a cell identifier of a cell of the second base station; and a second radio access network (RAN) area identifier of the cell. A packet for a wireless device in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state is received. A RAN paging message is sent to the second base station in response to receiving the packet. The RAN paging message is based on a first RAN area identifier of the first base station being identical to the second RAN area identifier.

The method includes: calculating, by a first communication node, a time domain position of a paging occasion (PO) of a second communication node; and transmitting, by the first communication node, paging information to the second communication node within the PO corresponding to the time domain position, where the paging information includes at least one of: paging downlink control information and a paging message, and the PO includes a group of paging resources for transmitting paging information on one or more preset beams or ports.

摘要: A method and system includes the ability for individuals to set up an ad hoc digital and voice network easily and rapidly to allow users to coordinate their activities by eliminating the need for pre-entry of data into a web or identifying others by name, phone numbers or email. This method is especially useful for police, fire fighters, military, first responders or other emergency situations for coordinating different organizations at the scene of a disaster to elevate conventional communication problems either up and down the chain of command or cross communication between different emergency units. The method and system provides that the users are only required to enter a specific Server IP address and an ad hoc event name, a password and perhaps the name of the particular unit.

摘要: Systems and methods for verifying a digital title of an asset transferred via a math-based currency transaction. The method includes receiving a digital title request regarding an asset, creating a digital title for the asset in a digital title database, receiving, from a financial institution computing system, an asset transfer request regarding the asset that is the subject of the math-based currency transaction, verifying that an identity of a seller in the math-based currency transaction matches the identity of the owner of the asset. Then, responsive to the verification that the identity of the seller in the math-based currency transaction matches the identity of the owner of the asset, the method includes transmitting, to the financial institution computing system, a positive title verification and updating the identity of the asset of the digital title for the asset to match an identity of a buyer in the math-based currency transaction.

The first base station transmits to a wireless device, RRC message(s). The RRC message(s) comprises the first RAN area identifier. The RRC message(s) indicates a state transition of the wireless device to an RRC inactive state. The first base station receives packet(s) for the wireless device. The first base station transmits to the second base station, and in response to receiving the packet(s), a RAN paging message when the first RAN area identifier is identical to the second RAN area identifier. The RAN paging message comprises an identifier of the wireless device and the first RAN area identifier.

摘要: Adaptive paging techniques for EC-capable devices are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise at least one memory and logic for an evolved node B (eNB), at least a portion of the logic comprised in hardware coupled to the at least one memory, the logic to receive an S1 paging message comprising a user equipment (UE) identifier (ID) associated with a UE and an extended coverage (EC) capability indicator indicating that the UE is EC-capable and page the UE using an EC paging sequence based on receipt of the S1 paging message, the EC paging sequence to comprise a series of transmissions of a radio resource control (RRC) paging message, the logic to truncate the EC paging sequence based on a determination that the UE has responded to RRC paging. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: This disclosure relates to techniques for efficient idle mode wakeup for wireless devices supporting an enhanced coverage mode and a normal coverage mode in a wireless communication system. A wireless device may camp on a cellular base station in idle mode. The wireless device may monitor a control channel associated with the normal coverage mode during a paging occasion. The wireless device may also monitor a control channel associated with the enhanced coverage mode during the paging occasion if a paging indication is not successfully decoded on the control channel associated with the normal coverage mode.
