    摘要: A hermetic compressor for adjusting the length and cross sectional area of a communication path as a refrigerant flow passage, so as to attenuate a discharge pulsation and consequently, a vibration and noise thereof. The hermetic compressor, which includes a cylinder head having a discharge chamber to discharge a compressed refrigerant and a discharge muffler to receive the refrigerant discharged from the discharge chamber, further includes a communication path to communicate the discharge chamber and the discharge muffler with each other, so as to allow the refrigerant to flow from the discharge chamber into the discharge muffler, and an auxiliary communication tube to increase a length of the communication path for increasing a refrigerant flow distance. The auxiliary communication path reduces the cross sectional area of a refrigerant flow passage while increasing a refrigerant flow distance, thereby attenuating a low-frequency component of the discharge pulsation.

    摘要: An air conditioning system including a first compressor and a second compressor provided in parallel with the first compressor to vary compression capacity. The second compressor includes a housing having a compressing chamber, a vane that moves forward and backward in a radial direction of the compressing chamber, a vane guide groove formed in the housing to guide the forward and backward movements of the vane, and a vane controller that controls the operation of the vane in order to vary capacity. The vane controller includes a control valve that switches a fluid path so as to selectively apply suctioning pressure of the second compressor and discharge pressure of the first compressor to the vane guide groove and a controller that controls a fluid path switching operation of the control valve by a pulse width modulation (PWM) method in accordance with air conditioning load.

    摘要: Disclosed is an adaptive receiving MIMO (multi input and multi output) system and method which decides a symbol detecting order so as to estimate the symbol having the minimum summation of weights of least square errors at the time of estimating the symbol for respective equalizers provided in parallel by the number of transmit antennas, and updates filter tap coefficients based on the RLS algorithm according to the detecting orders. Therefore, the filter tap coefficients are directly updated without tracking channels in the time-varying channel environment, and accordingly, detection performance very similar to those of the channel tracking and conventional V-BLAST scheme is provided with reduced complexity.

    摘要: A vertical memory device may include a substrate, a first selection line on the substrate, a plurality of word lines on the first selection line, a second selection line on the plurality of word lines, and a semiconductor channel. The first selection line may be between the plurality of word lines and the substrate, and the plurality of word lines may be between the first and second selection lines. Moreover, the first and second selection lines and the plurality of word lines may be spaced apart in a direction perpendicular with respect to a surface of the substrate. The semiconductor channel may extend away from the surface of the substrate adjacent sidewalls of the first and second selection lines and the plurality of word lines. In addition, portions of the semiconductor channel adjacent the second selection line may be doped with indium and/or gallium. Related methods are also discussed.
