Abstract: A system includes an intraoral scanner and a computing device. The intraoral scanner generates an intraoral scan of a dental site. The computing device processes an input comprising data from the intraoral scan using a trained machine learning model that has been trained to classify regions of dental sites, wherein the trained machine learning model generates an output comprising, for each point in the intraoral scan, an indication as to whether the point belongs to a first dental class that represents excess material. The computing device determines, based on the output, one or more points in the intraoral scan that are classified as excess material. The computing device then hides or removes, from at least one of the intraoral scan or a virtual three-dimensional (3D) model generated using the intraoral scan, data for the one or more points that are classified as excess material.

Abstract: A foreign matter inspection system that is less likely to misidentify a crack as a foreign matter during an image inspection in which a vibration is applied to a powder contained in a bag-like container. The foreign matter inspection system includes a vibration device configured to apply a vibration to a container, a photography device configured to optically photograph the inside of the container through a transparent area, and a determination device configured to determine whether a foreign matter is present inside the container based on an image of the container photographed by the photography device. The vibration device alternately applies weak vibrations W and strong vibrations S to the container. The determination device determines whether the foreign matter is present inside the container based on the image of the container photographed by the photography device when the vibration device applies the weak vibrations W.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a system for reviewing annotated medical images. The method includes receiving a dataset of medical images comprising one or more pre-existing annotations therein. The method also includes displaying, via a first graphical user interface, at a given instance, one of the medical images, and detecting a first input comprising a modification of at least one pre-existing annotation in the one of the medical images being displayed to define at least one modified annotation therefor and a reference for the at least one modified annotation to be associated therewith. The method also includes displaying, via a second graphical user interface, the one of the medical images having the at least one modified annotation and the associated reference for the at least one modified annotation, and detecting a second input comprising one of verification, correction, or rejection of the at least one modified annotation.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a manufacturing method of a learning model, a learning model, an estimation method, an image processing system, and a program, which are capable of efficiently generating a large amount of learning data and of performing training on a learning model to which the efficiently generated large amount of learning data is applied.
A manufacturing method of a learning model includes acquiring a region of a normal object included in a processing target image as a first mask, generating a second mask by changing a state of the first mask, and performing training to estimate a difference between the second mask and the first mask as a region-of-interest or performing training to estimate the first mask from the second mask, using the first mask and the second mask as learning data.-
