摘要: The present invention relates a puncture needle includes: a sheath having a longitudinal axis; a needle tube that is arranged inside the sheath to be moved along the longitudinal axis and that has a needle tip; and a protective tube that is arranged inside the needle tube to be moved along the longitudinal axis and that has a lumen into which a guide wire is inserted. The needle tube has a step portion formed at a position midway along the needle tube. The protective tube has a protrusion, which protrudes radially outward, on an outer peripheral surface thereof at a position midway nearer a proximal end side of the protective tube than the step portion is. A distal end of the protective tube is positioned at a position to protrude from the distal end of the needle tube when the protrusion abuts the step portion.

摘要: An ultrasound transducer includes a transducer body configured to generate ultrasound vibration to vibrate a treatment portion that treats a living tissue. The transducer body includes a plurality of piezoelectric elements configured to alternately repeat expansion and contraction according to a supplied drive signal. The plurality of piezoelectric elements are integrally fastened in a state where the plurality of piezoelectric elements are stacked along a direction of expansion and contraction. The plurality of piezoelectric elements include a first piezoelectric element configured to expand at a first timing and contract at a second timing, and a second piezoelectric element whose expansion and contraction timings are different from expansion and contraction timings of the first piezoelectric element. The second piezoelectric element is arranged so that a polarization direction of the second piezoelectric element is a same as a polarization direction of an adjacent piezoelectric element.

摘要: A control device for an ablation treatment tool includes: a target-value storage unit that stores a target value for the total treatment area; an energy-source output unit that outputs, to the ablation treatment tool, an energy source for performing ablation treatment; an area calculation unit that calculates the total treatment area of the ileal mucosa on which the ablation treatment has been performed; and a control unit that controls termination of the ablation treatment performed by the ablation treatment tool. The control unit notifies an operator of the termination of the ablation treatment or stops the output of the energy source from the energy-source output unit when the calculated total treatment area of the ileal mucosa becomes equal to or greater than the target value.
