摘要: An aerosol-generating system may include a liquid storage portion, a vaporizer, and a pump. The liquid storage portion may be configured to store a liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The vaporizer may be configured to volatilize the liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The pump may be configured to pump air into the liquid storage portion so as to push out a volume of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the liquid storage portion and to supply the volume of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate to the vaporizer. A method for generating an aerosol may be performed with the system.

摘要: A storage, retrieval and processing system for processing objects is disclosed. The storage, retrieval and processing system includes a plurality of storage bins, a plurality of destination bins, and a processing programmable motion device. The plurality of storage bins provides storage of a plurality of objects, where the plurality of storage bins are in communication with a gantry retrieval conveyance system for moving selected bins to a bin processing location. The plurality of destination bins are in communication with the gantry retrieval conveyance system for moving a selected destination bin to the processing location. The processing programmable motion device is at the processing location and is in communication with the gantry retrieval conveyance system. The processing programmable motion device includes an end effector for grasping and moving a selected object out of a selected storage bin and depositing the selected object in the selected destination bin.

摘要: A system for receiving and sorting items comprises: an input module; an identification module; a main support unit; an automated apparatus; and a control module. The input module comprises at least one input location arranged to receive a mobile support unit (for example a trolley) supporting a plurality of items (for example totes containing groceries). The identification module is operable to determine identification data from each item supported by a mobile support unit received by the input module. The main support unit comprises a plurality of storage positions, each of the plurality of storage positions being suitable for supporting an item. The automated apparatus is operable to move an item supported by a mobile support unit received by the input module to one of the plurality of storage positions of the main support unit. The control module is configured to receive the identification data from the identification module for a plurality of mobile support units received by the input module and to control the automated apparatus to move a plurality of items from each of the plurality of mobile support units received by the input module each to one of the plurality of storage positions of the main support unit. The control module is configured such that the storage position of each item is selected in dependence on the identification data determined from that item.

摘要: Methods and enhanced apparatus used in such methods are described that a dispatched logistics operation for a deliverable item from a hold-at-location (HAL) logistics facility having a secured storage and using a modular autonomous bot apparatus assembly and a dispatch server. The bot apparatus assembly picks up and delivers the item from the HAL facility in response to a delivery dispatch command from the dispatch server. In response, the MAM of the bot verifies compatibility of modular components for the operation, controls receiving of the deliverable item from the secured storage at the HAL facility, then autonomously causes movement to the delivery destination. The MAM notifies the customer before delivery of the approaching delivery, authenticates delivery is to the authorized customer, provides access to the item within the bot apparatus assembly, monitors unloading of the item, then autonomously moves back to the HAL facility.

摘要: A container lift for a container storage and retrieval system includes a lifting assembly. The lifting assembly is suspended from one or more lifting elements and is arranged to be raised or lowered in order to raise or lower an accompanying storage container within the storage and retrieval system. The lifting assembly includes a lifting frame part for releasable attachment to a storage container, and a guide shuttle arranged to guide the lifting frame part and any accompanying storage container as the lifting frame part is raised and lowered within the storage and retrieval system. The guide shuttle includes guide elements which are each arranged to interact with a corresponding guide surface of the storage and retrieval system to stabilise and maintain horizontal alignment of the lifting frame part and any accompanying storage container during the raising and lowering of the lifting frame part.

摘要: The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an unmanned delivery device, a delivery robot dispatching method, and an electronic device. The unmanned delivery device includes a container body, M delivery robots and a transfer module. The container body is provided with M cabinet groups and each of the cabinet groups is used to store goods to be delivered by a corresponding delivery robot. The container body is configured to identify a target delivery robot, determine order information of target goods stored in a target cabinet group corresponding to the target delivery robot, and instruct the target delivery robot to deliver the target goods according to the order information. The transfer module is used to move the target goods stored in the target cabinet group corresponding to the target delivery robot to the target delivery robot.

摘要: A method for handling malfunctioning vehicles on a rail system constituting part of a storage and retrieval system includes storing a plurality of stacks of storage containers and a control system. The storage and retrieval system includes a plurality of remotely operated vehicles configured to move laterally on the rail system. The method includes wirelessly monitoring and controlling, via the control system, movements of the plurality of vehicles. The method includes forming the control system by wireless data communication including: registering an anomaly in an operational condition of a vehicle on the rail system; registering the vehicle with the anomalous operational condition as a malfunctioning vehicle; bringing the malfunctioning vehicle to a halt; registering a halt position of the malfunctioning vehicle relative to the rail system; setting up a two-dimensional shutdown zone within the rail system into which the malfunctioning vehicle is halted; and updating movement pattern of the plurality of remotely operated vehicles outside the two-dimensional shutdown zone such that entrance into the two-dimensional shutdown zone is avoided.
