摘要: A system that has a plurality of monitors, a control unit, a first object and a second object is provided. The second object has one or more sensors operable to generate data and is remote from the first object. The control unit is configured to determine whether a first user is positioned on a first or on a second location of the first object and display a simulation of a second user onto the plurality of monitors based on the generated data. The second user is located remote from the first user and is displayed as being positioned in a different location on the first object than the first user on the first object. The control unit is further configured to activate the one or more heat generating devices to simulate a presence of the second user being positioned in the different location on the first object.

摘要: A device and method of adapting light passage for a vehicle window are disclosed. The device and method operate to include sensing a light source external to the vehicle window, the light source operable to affect viewing the external environment. A portion of an adaptive light passage region of the vehicle window is defined relative to a gaze direction of a vehicle occupant, and an opacity level of the portion of the adaptive light passage region is adapted to normalize the intensity of the light source relative to the light magnitude sample data. The light source may be tracked for sustaining the opacity level of the portion of the adaptive light passage region with the gaze direction of the vehicle occupant while the light source exceeds the intensity threshold.

摘要: An electronic control unit for a vehicle for switching vehicle control from an autonomous driving mode includes one or more processors, network interface hardware configured to communicate with a remote server over a network, and one or more memory modules that store logic. The electronic control unit executes logic to determine that the autonomous driving mode of the vehicle will terminate, determine that a driver is unavailable to take immediate control of the vehicle upon termination of the autonomous driving, transfer control of the vehicle to a remote operator over the network interface hardware for a first time period, generate an alert to the driver to take manual control of the vehicle, and transfer control of the vehicle to one of the driver and the autonomous driving mode after the first time period has elapsed.
