Abstract:
A portable electronic apparatus and an operation method thereof and a computer readable media are provided. The portable electronic apparatus comprises a touch display unit, and an electronic notebook is displayed in the touch display unit. When the touch display enters a power saving mode, and a trigger event is detected, the power saving mode is ended, and the electronic notebook is directly displayed in the touch display unit without displaying a screen lock mode before displaying the electronic notebook.
Abstract:
A semiconductor chip includes a corner stress relief (CSR) region. An enhanced structure connects sides of a seal ring structure to surround the CSR region. A device under test (DUT) structure is disposed on the CSR region. A set of probe pad structures is disposed on the CSR region. Two of the set of probe pad structures are electrically connect to the DUT structure.
Abstract:
A semiconductor package structure is provided. The structure includes a semiconductor chip having a plurality of interconnect layers formed thereover. A first passivation layer is formed over the plurality of interconnect layers. A stress buffer layer is formed over the first passivation layer. A bonding pad is formed over the stress buffer layer. A second passivation layer is formed over a portion of the bonding pad, the second passivation having at least one opening therein exposing a portion of the bonding pad.
Abstract:
Provided herein is an isolated polynucleotide sequence with internal ribosome entry site (IRES) activity, which directs translation initiation in an insect expression system in a cap-independent manner. In particular, the invention relates to an isolated polynucleotide comprises the 5′ UTR of perina nuda Picorna-like virus (PnV) that possesses IRES activity. Methods of identifying a polynucleotide with IRES activity and methods of expressing at least two polypeptides in an insect system are also disclosed herein.
Abstract:
A display hook assembly includes a flat body which includes an extension extending therefrom and the extension shares a common plane with the flat body. The extension includes a metal plate received therein so that the extension can be bent to form a hook. A positioning member such as a suction disk is connected to the flat body so as to connect the display hook assembly on a wall.
Abstract:
Provided is a decorative card including a two-sheet folding paper including a first attaching device formed on the outer surface of one sheet thereof; and a colorful decoration formed of molded PVC, the decoration including a second attaching device for releasably attaching to the first attaching device. In one embodiment, the first attaching device is a metal member and the second attaching device is a magnet. In another embodiment, the first attaching device includes two parallel slits and the second attaching device is a paper clip adapted to insert through the slits to secure the decoration onto the folding paper. In a further embodiment, the first attaching device is a curved slit having two end openings, and the second attaching device is a chain adapted to loop through the openings by passing the slit so as to hang the decoration on the folding paper.
Abstract:
A method for operating a software input panel (SIP) is provided for an electronic device having a screen. In the present method, a signal generated corresponding to an operation performed on the electronic device by a user is used for switching types and input modes of the SIP, or for modifying appearances of the SIP. Consequently, a user need not switch the functions of the SIP described above through a SIP menu. As a result, the convenience of operating the SIP can be increased, and the efficiency of using the SIP can also be improved.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure relate generally to rack systems for housing computing devices. The rack may include shelves supported by flanges of a pair of corresponding inserts. The flanges may be spaced along the length of each of the inserts. The distance between the flanges may define the height of a shelf when placed in the rack. The pair of corresponding inserts may be placed along an inner sidewall of the rack by mating hooks of the inserts with corresponding slots of the inner sidewall and subsequently removed by demating the hooks and slots. For example, a pair of inserts with one distance between the flanges may be replaced by a pair of inserts with another distance between the flanges in order to increase the shelf height of the rack. By replacing the shelves and/or the inserts, a user may quickly and easily in order to reconfigure the rack.
Abstract:
A system and method for testing electrical connections is provided. In an embodiment one or more floating pads may be manufactured in electrical connection with an underbump metallization structure. A test may then be performed to measure the electrical characteristics of the underbump metallization structure through the floating pad in order to test for defects. Alternatively, a conductive connection may be formed on the underbump metallization and the test may be performed on the conductive connection and the underbump metallization together.
