摘要: A deceleration control system includes: a travel distance acquisition unit configured to acquire a travel distance measured by a sensor of a vehicle; a measured distance recording unit configured to record a measured distance in a recording medium for each travel road segment through which the vehicle travels, the measured distance being the travel distance from a predetermined measurement start position; a reference position setting unit configured to set a reference position based on the measured distance and a deceleration position in which the vehicle decelerates, the reference position being a position located on the near side of the deceleration position by a predetermined reference distance; and a deceleration control unit configured to perform deceleration control based on the travel distance from the reference position.

摘要: A method of and system for detecting absolute acceleration along various axes relative to a desired movement vector while moving relative to a gravity source includes steps of determining a vertical acceleration, perpendicular to the desired movement vector and substantially anti-parallel to a gravitational acceleration due to the gravity source; determining a longitudinal acceleration, parallel to the desired movement vector and to output at vertical acceleration signal and a longitudinal acceleration signal; determining an inclination of the desired movement vector relative to the gravitational acceleration; and processing the vertical acceleration signal, the longitudinal acceleration signal, and the inclination signal to produce an absolute vertical acceleration signal and an absolute longitudinal acceleration signal.

摘要: When finding the driver distracted from driving (such as looking aside), this system provides driving assistance that enhances his or her motivation to drive by encouraging him or her to drive actively and thereby increase his or her internal focus on driving. Examples of specific driving assistance include giving exemplary driving instructions to the driver, providing him or her with navigation to a road with features that would entertain him or her through driving, and improving sensitivity to any change in the vehicle's state responsive to driving operations. If dangerous driving is sensed while the driving assistance is being provided, driving control may be performed to increase the driver's tension.

摘要: A valet parking system for automatically bringing a vehicle to a parking space within a predefined parking area. The valet parking system includes a central control unit and a parking-space monitoring system having a stationary parking-space sensor. The parking-space monitoring system is designed to detect the current state of occupancy of the parking spaces of the parking area and to transmit that to the central control unit. The parking-space monitoring system may localize all autonomously moving or waiting vehicles that are currently in transit autonomously within the parking area either to be brought to their assigned parking space or received by their driver at a predefined pick-up location, and to transmit information about the present position of all these vehicles to the central control unit. A free parking space is assigned to the vehicle by the central control unit as a function of the geometrical dimensions of the vehicle.

摘要: A method/system for maintaining the energy efficiency history of predicted route segments in a database, providing adaptive feedback to hybrid vehicle controls, and displaying the energy efficiency history to the driver. As the vehicle travels on a route, the system stores energy efficiency information for route segments. The system may include sensors, a memory, and a processor to learn energy efficiency information based on how fuel and battery power are used over a route segment and/or route. The method/system may utilize energy efficiency information to adjust a start/stop engine threshold of a hybrid vehicle. When the processor predicts that the vehicle will travels on the predicted route segment again, the vehicle may optimize powertrain parameters such as the start/stop engine threshold during traveling on the predicted route segment and/or before reaching the predicted route segment.

摘要: A driving support apparatus includes an other vehicle detector, an other vehicle information acquisition unit, a proximity detector, a proximity controller and a setting unit. The other vehicle detector detects an other vehicle travelling on the second lane. The other vehicle information acquisition unit acquires information containing the size of the other vehicle. The proximity detector outputs a proximity signal when it is detected that the other vehicle is located in the detection range of set on the second lane at a predetermined detection distance from the own vehicle. The proximity controller activates a proximity control unit when detecting that a turn signal lever is operated while the proximity signal is being output. The setting unit increases the detection distance according to the size of the other vehicle.
