    Abstract: A machining center processes a section not to be corrected of a workpiece and a crankshaft bearing hole in a different position from the section not to be corrected and which is separated from an upper deck surface of the workpiece. The machining center supplies a coolant to the hole during processing and detects a temperature of the coolant. A control apparatus estimates the temperature of the coolant when a predetermined time elapses from a start of the processing to be a temperature of the workpiece, calculates a deformation amount of the workpiece due to thermal expansion, corrects a position of the hole with respect to the upper deck surface based on the deformation amount, and starts processing of the hole after the predetermined time. The predetermined time ends when a difference between a temperature near the hole and the temperature of the coolant falls within a predetermined range.

    Abstract: A vehicle front structure comprises a beam member and a plate member. The plate member comprises a vertical face portion, a body portion extending forwardly from the vertical face portion, a front end portion positioned at a front end of the body portion, and a protrusion face portion provided to be forwardly spaced apart from the vertical face portion. The front end portion comprises an upper section located at a higher level than the body portion. The protrusion face portion comprises a protrusion-face-portion upper section located at a higher level than an upper end of the upper section and a protrusion-face-portion lower section located at a lower level than the upper end of the upper section. The protrusion-face-portion lower section is configured to have lower strength against a collision load applied from a vehicle forward side than the protrusion-face-portion upper section.

    Abstract: A terminal structure includes mutually adjacent first and second terminals, each having a connecting part for electric connection to an external apparatus, and a case accommodating the terminals and having a tool insertion opening. The connecting parts have a flat connecting surface. The device includes a voltage divider section having a voltage divider circuit that includes a first element and a second element connected in series, a diode voltage detection section detecting a forward voltage of the freewheel diode on the basis of a divided voltage of the second element, a diode current detection section detecting a forward current of the freewheel diode, and a diode temperature estimation section estimating the temperature of the freewheel diode on the basis of the detected forward voltage, the detected forward current, and characteristic data. The first element is a diode arranged in forward parallel with the freewheel diode, and the second element is a resistor.

    Abstract: A steering device comprises a tilt-telescopic mechanism to switch between its tilt-and-axial move allowed state and its prohibited state. The tilt-telescopic mechanism comprises a pair of side wall portions provided on both sides, in a vehicle width direction, of an upper column, a bolt penetrating the side wall portions and pressing the side wall portions against each other in an approaching direction, a lever, and a biasing portion arranged between each of the side wall portions and the upper column and operative to apply a pressing force to the upper column from the both sides, in the vehicle width direction, thereof. The biasing portion comprises a pair of upper-side pressing portions to press an upper portion of the upper column above its axial center from both sides and a pair of lower-side pressing portions to press a lower portion of that below its axial center from both sides.
