摘要: A resin composition may include a (meth)acrylate (A) comprising a hydroxy group and having a molecular weight of about 500 or less, and a polymer (B) comprising polyisoprene or polybutadiene as a main skeleton, having at least one radical reactive group in one molecule, and having a molecular weight in a range of about 2,000 to about 35,000, wherein the resin composition has a glass transition temperature in a range of about −50° C. to about 0° C. after the resin composition is cured, and the resin composition has a viscosity in a range of about 5 mPa·s to about 50 mPa·s at a temperature in a range of about 30° C. to about 50° C.

摘要: Polyolefin elastomers are widely employed commodity polymers. There remains a desire to expand the structural diversity of polyolefin elastomers to facilitate their use in additional applications. Polyolefin elastomers may be graft copolymers that comprise: a first polymer chain comprising at least a first olefinic monomer comprising isobutylene and a second olefinic monomer bearing a benzylic carbon atom or an allylic carbon atom, and a second polymer chain bonded to the benzylic carbon atom or the allylic carbon atom of the first polymer chain. The second polymer chain comprises at least one monomer that is not present in the first polymer chain. The second polymer chain may be bonded to the first polymer chain by generating a carbanion upon the benzylic carbon atom or the allylic carbon atom and growing the second polymer chain by anionic polymerization.

摘要: A composition is described comprising a styrene-isobutylene block copolymer; and at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer. After curing the composition comprises polymerized units of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer. In some embodiments the ethylenically unsaturated groups are selected from (meth)acryl or vinyl ether. The composition is suitable for use as a (e.g. pressure sensitive) adhesive. Articles, methods of making an article, and methods of bonding are also described.

摘要: A multi-functionally modified polymer binder for lithium ion batteries, which is prepared by a free radical graft copolymerization or a Michael addition reaction, with a biomass polymer or a synthetic polymer as a substrate, and a hydrophilic monomer and a lipophilic monomer as functionally modifying monomers. The binder presents a three-dimensional network body with a multi-branch structure, provides more active cites for contacting with the electrode active materials, improves uniformity and flatness in the formation of films from electrode slurry, enhances the binding strength between the electrode active materials, the conductive agents and the current collector, has high elasticity and binding strength, and is applicable in water/organic solvent. Use of the binder in positive electrodes and negative electrodes can facilitate the conduction of electrons/ions during charging and discharging, reduce the electrochemical interface impedance of the electrodes.

摘要: An adhesive resin composition, including: a base resin which comprises (A) 30-90 parts by weight of a modified ethylene-olefin copolymer, and (B) 70-10 parts by weight of a styrene thermoplastic elastomer, provided that (A)+(B) equals 100 parts by weight; and (C) a tackifier in an amount of 30-60 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the base resin, the modified ethylene-olefin copolymer being one which has been graft-modified with (a) an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof and (b) an aromatic vinyl monomer, comprises 0.1%-5% by weight of (a) the unsaturated carboxylic acid or the derivative thereof, and has a melting point peak in a range of 100-150° C. with an enthalpy of crystal fusion of 0.5-10 J/g as determined by DSC.
