摘要: A latex composition having a nitrile rubber containing an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit and a conjugated diene monomer unit, wherein the nitrile rubber has a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 100,000, and the weight of methanol extractables in all solids present in the latex composition is 2 to 20 wt % based on the weight of all the solids.

Such modifier exhibits excellent dispersibility via hydrogen bonding with an inorganic filler when mixed therewith. 摘要: Crumb rubber obtained from recycled tires is subjected to an interlinked substitution process. The process utilizes a reactive component that interferes with sulfur bonds. The resulting treated rubber exhibits properties similar to those of the virgin composite rubber structure prior to being granulated, and is suitable for use in fabricating new tires, engineered rubber articles, and asphalt rubber for use in waterproofing and paving applications.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a method of making an amine functionalized elastomer, comprising the steps of polymerizing at least one first monomer selected from the group consisting of 1,3-butadiene and isoprene and a second monomer of formula I in the presence of a polymerization catalyst in a hydrocarbon solvent to form a first copolymer in solution; where R1 is phenylene, a linear or branched alkane diyl group containing from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a combination of one or more phenylene groups and one or more linear or branched alkane diyl groups containing from 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and R2 is methyl or ethyl; and mixing the first copolymer in solution with a protic solvent followed by stirring to convert the first copolymer to a second copolymer given by the formula poly(M1 co M2) wherein M1 is the first monomer and M2 is of formula II where R1 is as previously defined.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a copolymer of a first monomer and a second monomer, wherein the first monomer is selected from the group consisting of 1,3-butadiene, isoprene, and styrene; and the second monomer is of formula I or V wherein R1 is a covalent bond, phenylene, a linear or branched alkane diyl group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a combination of one or more phenylene groups and one or more linear or branched alkane diyl groups containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms; R2 and R3 are independently linear or branched alkyl groups containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms; R4 is hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and R5 is a linear or branched alkane diyl group containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a bridging aromatic group. The invention is further directed to a rubber composition including the copolymer, and a pneumatic tire containing the rubber composition. The invention is further directed to a method of making such a copolymer.

The present invention relates to a dental adhesive containing: an asymmetric acrylamide-methacrylic acid ester compound (a); an acid group-containing (meth)acrylic polymerizable monomer (b); and a water-soluble polymerizable monomer (c). The asymmetric acrylamide-methacrylic acid ester compound (a) is represented by the following general formula (1): where X is an optionally substituted, linear or branched C1 to C6 aliphatic group or an optionally substituted aromatic group, the aliphatic group is optionally interrupted by at least one linking group selected from the group consisting of —O—, —S—, —CO—, —CO—O—, —O—CO—, —NR1—, —CO—NR1—, —NR1—CO—, —CO—O—NR1—, —O—CO—NR1—, and —NR1—CO—NR1—, and R1 is a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted, linear or branched C1 to C6 aliphatic group.
