    Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of train power supply and operation control, and provides a three-rail power supply control system for an electrical railway train. Power supply rails in the system are divided into a first power supply rail, a second power supply rail, and a third power supply rail, wherein the first power supply rail, the second power supply rail, and a running rail constitute a three-phase AC power supply loop, and the third power supply rail and the running rail constitute a DC power supply loop. An AC-DC-AC variable voltage variable frequency device supplies power to a train traction motor by means of the three-phase AC power supply loop and current collectors. Frequency modulation and voltage regulation power supply is conducted by means of the AC-DC-AC variable voltage variable frequency device on the ground to achieve train driving and operation control. The DC power supply loop is powered by means of a rectifying device on the ground, and power is supplied to auxiliary electric equipment of the train by means of the current collectors. By changing the power supply mode of the system and optimizing the system structure, the weight and axle load of train-mounted equipment are effectively reduced, lightweight of the train is achieved, and the bearing efficiency of the train is improved, and moreover, automatic control and unmanned driving for train operation are achieved in the most economical way.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a method for greasing a contact wire for the electrical power supply of a pantograph of a rail vehicle comprising: inserting the contact wire into a passage opening of a base body extending in a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and a height direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and perpendicular to the transverse direction, whereby the passage opening penetrating the base body in the longitudinal direction as seen from a front side to a back side as seen in the longitudinal direction, and accelerating the base body in the longitudinal direction so that the contact wire is moved through the passage direction, characterized by introducing grease into the passage opening through which the contact wire moves at a feed rate at which the introduced grease exits the passage opening at the back of the base body under a predetermined condition.

The method involves transmitting a signal having predetermined phase characteristics using a signal transmitter arranged along the longitudinal direction of the current conductor; detecting the transmitted signal using a signal receiver on the vehicle, which signal receiver comprises at least one vertical antenna; detecting the phase characteristics of the signal induced in the at least one vertical antenna, indicating the relative location of the vertical antenna and the signal transmitter in the transverse direction of the vehicle; and controlling a positioning arrangement in dependence of the received signals.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for activating a segment for enabling electrical power delivery to vehicles, the segment being one of a plurality of segments consecutively arranged along a single track line of an electric road system that further comprises a base station, the method comprising: receiving, at the base station, identification data transmitted from a vehicle, the identification data identifying the vehicle; associating an activation key with the identification data with each other; transmitting the activation key from the base station to the segment; receiving, at the segment and via short range radio communication, an activation request sent from the vehicle, wherein the activation request comprises an identification key associated with the identification data; confirming, at the segment, that the received identification key is associated with the received activation key; and upon positive confirmation, activating the segment for enabling power delivery to the vehicle.
