Abstract: Disclosed is a method of placing a magnetic wire such as a magnetic heating wire into a molded vehicle seat, wherein the heating element is kept closely adjacent to the inner surface of the outer seat material of the seat during the molding process through the use of magnets in the mold. In many embodiments, the outer seat material is vinyl and the magnetic wire is an iron/chromium wire.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for coating a projectile for use in an ammunition cartridge. A polymer jacket is applied to an undersized projectile core of a first standard caliber to bring the outer dimensions of the jacketed projectile into compliance with those of a second, larger caliber projectile. The polymer jacket coating may produce a non-uniform outer diameter of the polymer jacketed projectile and may include a plurality of circular cavities defined therein. The polymer-jacketed projectile may be a bullet for pistol or rifle ammunition, or a pellet, or shot for use in a shotgun shell.

Abstract: Methods of embedding a heating circuit in an article fabricated by additive manufacturing. The methods describe techniques such as co-extruding a wire, capable of being heated, along with print material in additive manufacturing of the article, and placing a pre-shaped wire capable of being heated between adjacent layers of the article. A third method includes dispensing a wire, capable of being heated, during the additive manufacturing of the article, and compacting the wire into the printed material. An apparatus for embedding a heating circuit in an article fabricated by additive manufacturing. The apparatus contains a wire dispenser, a cutter to control the length of the wire dispensed, and a compactor capable of embedding the wire capable of being heated into the printed material. An article made by additive manufacturing is disclosed. The article contains at least one heating element embedded in the article during the additive manufacturing process.

Abstract: The polymeric pipes reinforced with a metal casing are used for transporting oil and gas, acids, alkali products, drinking water and industrial water, and also in the transportation of aggressive and neutral pulps. A metal-containing polymeric reinforced pipe includes a welded metal casing and a polymeric matrix having an amorphous-phase-based molecular structure. The metal-containing polymeric reinforced pipe is produced by extrusion moulding with simultaneous feeding of a polymer melt and the reinforcing metal casing into the mould cavity, followed by intensive cooling of the internal and external surfaces of the pipe being moulded. The invention increases the quality and endurance limit in the radial direction of the metal-containing polymeric reinforced pipe, productivity of the process for manufacturing the pipe, and also the strength and technological effectiveness of a pipeline constructed from the pipes produced.

The production method includes a moulding process in which a moulding tool is used, which moulding tool has complementary metal microstructures which have been produced from a semiconductor material in an electrodeposition process by means of a master component.
