摘要: A method for manufacturing a thermoplastic composite product includes: providing a first and second thermoplastic composite component made from a consolidated stack of thermoplastic composite plies, said first and second component having a first and second ply drop off, respectively. The first and second components are positioned such that the first ply drop off and the second ply drop off are aligned, and the first and second components are fixedly connected by means of heating. The stacks of plies for the first and second components are constructed by stacking the plies in a stacking direction wherein the plies are arranged such that plies at a different position along the stacking direction are laterally offset relative to each other for the purpose of forming the first ply drop off and the second ply drop off, respectively, before consolidating.

摘要: The invention relates to a single-ply semi-finished product web which is reinforced with unidirectionally orientated continuous fibers and exhibits a movement direction and comprises a matrix containing at least 60% by weight of one or more thermoplastic polymers selected from the group consisting of polyamide, polyolefin and mixtures thereof and comprising welding seams of overlapping fiber-reinforced semi-finished product web segments at periodically occurring intervals, wherein the fiber plies of the fiber-reinforced semi-finished product web segments overlap, wherein the thickness of the semi-finished product web in the region of the welding seams is at least exactly as high as the arithmetic mean of the other regions of the semi-finished product web, and wherein the width of the regions of the welding seams is more than 1 mm to 8 mm in the movement direction, and wherein the thickness of the semi-finished product web in the regions outside the regions of the welding seams is 0.01 mm to 0.40 mm, and wherein the unidirectionally orientated continuous fibers enclose a predetermined angle with the movement direction, the value α of which is in the range of more than 0° to 90°, and to a method for its manufacture and to its use for manufacturing a multi-layer composite material and/or organic sheet.

摘要: A method for connecting two aircraft components composed of thermoplastic composite material by a rivet. The two aircraft components are arranged, in sections, areally on one another, before bores in the two aircraft components are expanded by a mandrel element such that the bores, after the expansion, form one continuous bore for receiving the rivet. Here, the two aircraft components are locally warmed by the mandrel element such that, during the expansion of the bores, the components are thermoplastically deformed. The mandrel element is inserted through the first bore into the second bore. The rivet is introduced into the continuous bore. A system for carrying out the method is also disclosed.

The end part of the first member is reversely tapered in an axial direction, while a joining member is disposed along a reversely tapered form of the end part. The second member is provided in contact with an end face of the first member and connected to the joining member. A plurality of fibers substantially extending in the axial direction of the end part of the first member are provided within the end part and disposed to form a larger angle with the axial direction of the end part of the first member as they are disposed to be closer to a surface constituting the reversely tapered form in a radial direction of the end part.
