    Abstract: A device for removing wheel burrs with first brushes and second brushes includes a wheel positioning and pressing system configured to position and press of the wheel, a center cap mouth burr removing system configured to remove burrs of the wheel cap mouth with the second brushes, and a wheel spoke back cavity burr removing system configured to remove burrs of the wheel spoke back cavity with the first brushes. The first brushes are mounted on an expandable first capsule and the second brushes are mounted on an expandable second conical capsule, and filling the expandable first capsule and the expandable second conical capsule with air and removing air from the expandable first capsule and the expandable second conical capsule change the shapes of the first brushes and the second brushes to accommodate wheels with different shape and size for deburring.

    Abstract: A device for removing circumferential burrs of a wheel with high precision includes an electric cylinder, a lifting table, guide rails, an electric cylinder, a sliding block, a plurality of sensors, a rim burr cutter, a riser burr cutter, and the like. The device can simultaneously remove circumferential burrs from the flange edge, the outer rim and the riser slot edge, which eliminates the error caused by coaxial degree deviation, so that the rotating center of the cutters coincides with the circumferential center of the burrs. The device is configured to provide high-precision removal of burrs from the flange edge, and high-precision removal of burrs from the outer rim and the riser.

    Abstract: A wheel deburring device includes a machine frame, a wheel delivery and positioning mechanism mounted in the frame, and a brush for brushing off burrs from a wheel. The brush is movably mounted to the frame through a rising and falling plate and a sliding plate rack connected with the plate via first guide rails, the brush being able to rotate by a servo motor mounted in the frame and to rise and fall by a rising and falling cylinder. A first servo electric cylinder is mounted so that the first cylinder can adjust angles of the brush. A second servo electric cylinder is fixed at one side of the rising and falling plate, and its output end is connected with the rack so that the second cylinder can adjust positions of the brush through first guide rails.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a size-variable wheel deburring device including combined manipulators, a transfer manipulator, a burr brushing system, fixture systems, and so on. Pneumatic fingers grip shanks of retaining pins to bring pin bodies into fit with first retaining sleeves and second retaining sleeves, and retaining lugs with guide grooves. Springs are compressed to cause 90-degree rotation of pin bodies such that retaining lugs come into retaining grooves of the second retaining sleeves. A brush is driven by a driving motor to rotate and elevated by right elevating cylinders to contact with a back cavity of a wheel for deburring. The size-variable wheel deburring device is capable of automatically adjusting the size of the brush and of each fixture according to the diameters of wheels in use, and realizing mixed online burr brushing, and additionally has the characteristics of advanced technique, high automation degree, good universality, and safe and stable performance.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a deburring device for a back cavity of a wheel, composed of a machine frame, a clamping and rotating system, a rising and falling translation system and brush units. Jaws clamp a wheel on a roller way, upper cylinders enable the wheel to rise through four upper guide posts, and a first servo motor enables the wheel to move to upsides of conical sleeves through a second gear rack and a second gear; the upper cylinders enable the wheel to fall, and outer sides of the four jaws are in fit with the conical sleeves; a second motor enables the wheel to rotate in a clamped state; a first motor drives a bottom plate and a brush system to rotate in a circumferential direction through a first synchronizing belt; a second servo motor drives a first brush to rotate, a third servo motor drives a second brush to rotate, and brush hairs of the two brushes apply brushing forces of different directions to a back cavity of the wheel; a direction of rotation of the wheel is opposite to that of the brush system; and lower cylinders enable the brush system to rise through lower guide posts, and the brush system can carry out deburring when the brush system is in contact with the back cavity of the wheel.

    Abstract: A method for reconditioning a compactor wheel of a compaction machine is provided. The method includes mounting a compactor wheel on a positioning system configured to provide one or more of angular adjustment, vertical and horizontal translation, and rotation of the compactor wheel, so as to position the compactor wheel in a desired position. The method also includes providing a welding system configured to perform a submerged arc strip welding or weld cladding operation on the compactor wheel. The submerged arc strip welding or weld cladding operation is performed on at least one surface or edge of the compactor wheel to add weldable material thereto, so as to recondition the at least one surface or edge of the compactor wheel.
