A tire pre-conditioning system includes a first mandrel, a second mandrel spaced apart from the first mandrel, and a controller in communication with the first mandrel and the second mandrel. The first mandrel is fixedly attached to a first shaft and including a first tapered sidewall. The second mandrel is fixedly attached to a second shaft and including a second tapered sidewall. The controller is operable to axially move the first mandrel and the second mandrel toward one another until the first and second tapered sidewalls are opposing respective beads of a tire, and supply pressurized fluid into an internal cavity of the tire to inflate the tire. The inflating causing the beads to move relative to mandrels while contacting the opposing respective tapered sidewalls to burnish the beads of the tire.

The present invention discloses a wheel deburring device, including a rack, gears, gear racks, servo motors, cylinders and hair brushes and the like. In the use of the wheel deburring device, one servo motor can be used for achieving simultaneous rotation of left and right hair brushes and also adjusting the distance between the left and right hair brushes, and a clamping system can automatically adjust the position of radial blocks to make the distance between the left hair brush and the right hair brush adapt to wheels with different sizes; meanwhile, the wheel deburring device has the advantages of high degree of automation, advanced process, strong universality and safe and stable performance.

A rotatable tool for use in repairing composite hollow shafts, namely for sports equipment, for example, composite hockey stick shafts. The rotatable tool includes a plurality of aligned spaced-apart grinding surfaces and proximal and distal guide bearings coaxially arranged along a tool shaft. The rotatable tool is used to form grooves proximate the repair location so as to enhance mechanical bonding of a composite repair material which spans a region of abutment of hollow shaft segments.

A method of salvaging a used, damaged turbocharger compressor housing involving the steps of machining the damaged interior surface of the housing, grit blasting the machined surface, building up the machined surface with coating material, and final machining the interior surface to its original specifications. The method includes holding the compressor housing by key datums during the machining steps.
