Abstract: A method to capture gasses from an upstream underground well during a frac plug drill-out operations, with the use of multiple separation vessels, cross-compression units, flaring and regulation control. The method allows capturing gasses out of a fluid mixture, from the underground well, with flowing the fluid mixture from the underground well towards sequentially a mud-gas separation vessel and a separation vessel, whereby the fluid mixture contains a solid and liquid phase and a gas phase. The method also includes separating the fluid mixture into the solid and liquid phase and the gas phase. The method further includes simultaneously flowing the gas phase towards a flare for burning and towards a sales line, through one or more cross-compression units. One goal of the method may be to recover most of the gas phase towards the sales line for valuing it instead of discharging it to the atmosphere.

Abstract: An integrated milling and production device. The device includes a production housing, a connector, a motor, and a milling bit. The production housing has a central bore with at least one flapper valve pivotally disposed therein and an actuator. Upon completion of milling operations, the connector may be disengaged from the production housing. The production housing may be repositioned in the well. Activation of the actuator permanently opens the flapper valve to permit the flow of production up the production housing to the well surface. The actuator may be a piston.

Abstract: Apparatus can have a separable housing having a longitudinal length extending along a longitudinal axis with an upper portion and a lower portion. Abstract: A plug assembly includes a continuous expandable sealing ring having an embedded radial gap feature. The continuous expandable sealing ring includes a first section with a prominent external surface, whereby the first section with a prominent external surface includes a radial gap underneath, and a second section with a second external surface. During the setting of the plug, the first prominent external surface comes in contact with the internal surface of the tubing string, while the radial gap underneath allows avoiding transmitting radial forces from the continuous sealing ring towards the tubing string, therefore keeping the majority of the force transmission from the expandable gripping ring towards the tubing string.

Abstract: A wellbore tool includes a rotatable elongate pipe that includes a first elongate portion extending along a longitudinal axis of the elongate pipe. A first bending portion with a first end attaches to a downhole end of the first elongate portion. The first bending portion deviates from a longitudinal axis of the first elongate portion in a first direction. A second bending portion has a first end attached to a second end of the first bending portion. The second bending portion is positioned downhole of the first bending portion. The second bending portion deviates towards the longitudinal axis in a second direction different from the first direction. The first bending portion and the second bending are eccentric relative to the first elongate portion. The wellbore tool is rotated a set amount and stabbed in a downhole direction until the wellbore tool enters the parted casing.

Abstract: An improved downhole tool for use in wellbores. In some embodiments, the tool has a first position wherein fluids entering the tool can exit via two or more flow passages, and a second position wherein some of the two or more flow passages are blocked such that fluids in the tool exit via the remaining unblocked flow passages. In other embodiments, the tool has a first position wherein fluids entering the tool are directed to some of the two or more flow passages, and a second position wherein fluids entering the tool are directed to the remaining flow passages. The tool is transitionable between the first and second positions by alternately ceasing or decreasing fluid flow to the tool and introducing or increasing fluid flow to the tool.

Abstract: In one system, there is an emergency pipe stroker tool, wherein the emergency pipe stroker tool is configured to act as a first mechanical barrier for a well. Further, there is an emergency quick disconnect tool in communication with the emergency pipe stroker tool, wherein the emergency quick disconnect tool comprises a connector assembly and a fluid conduit in communication with the well, and further wherein the connector assembly is configured to simultaneously detach from the well and to seal the well. Further still, there is a cement retainer in communication with the emergency quick disconnect tool and the emergency pipe stroker tool, wherein the cement retainer is configured to act as a second mechanical barrier for the well, wherein, the emergency pipe stroker tool, the emergency quick disconnect tool, and the cement retainer act in coordination to seal a well while establishing the multiple mechanical barriers.
