摘要: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device that has a memory to store instructions and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein responsive to executing the instructions, the processor performs operations that include defining a group of perspectives around an avatar controlled by a player of a video game, detecting a current trigger during the video game, recording a trigger clip of game content for each perspective in the group of perspectives resulting in a group of trigger clips, wherein each trigger clip of the group of trigger clips is a portion of game content that includes the current trigger from each perspective of the group of perspectives, and providing the group of trigger clips over a communication network to a gaming device utilized by the player. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: A controller can be used with a computing device to select and/or interact with content using user input devices on the controller. The content can be locally-stored on the computing device and/or streamed from a remote device. In one embodiment, a contextually-aware platform service switcher is provided. In another embodiment, a system and method for automatic content capability detection are provided. In yet another embodiment, a system and method for rich content browsing multitasking on device operating systems with multitasking limitations are provided. These embodiments can be used alone or in combination. Other embodiments are provided.

摘要: A lanyard to hold a controller for a headset is provided. The lanyard includes a strap anchored on a top portion of a lid for a battery case of the controller, and a clip anchored to an opening pin in a bottom portion of the lid for the battery case of the controller. The strap includes a stretchable fabric and multiple sticky pads on an outer face that adhere to the stretchable fabric when the strap is looped around the clip. A headset using a controller that includes a lanyard as above, and the controller, are also provided.

摘要: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, an apparatus having a processor to detect a gaming accessory stimulation associated with a programmable layer of a number of programmable layers. The processor identifies a substitute gaming accessory stimulation of the programmable layer of the number of programmable layers of the gaming accessory. The substitute gaming accessory stimulation of the programmable layer is associated with the gaming accessory stimulation of the programmable layer of the number of programmable layers, according to a user profile of a number of user profiles associated with a user account. Other predetermined associations of stimulations of the gaming accessory with other substitute accessory stimulations are recorded in other user profiles of the number of user profiles, and the substitute gaming accessory stimulation is provided to a computing device to manage a gaming software application. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: A game controller cooling cover assembly is described having a flexible cover that has a non-slip gripping surface that provides protection to the controller and cooling to the user. The flexible cover comprises a flexible outer layer having numerous ventilation apertures. The flexible cover is spaced away from the controller with many offset ribs that create air channels between the controller and the flexible cover. A fan blows air through the air passages that are expelled through the ventilation apertures thereby cooling the user's bands. The cover has a split opening on the top side allowing the cover to be attached or taken off the controller. The split opening is held together with magnets for quick attachment and release. In an alternative embodiment, the battery pack is removable. This structure allows one battery pack to be charging while another is in use and allows for quick replacement of the battery.

摘要: A method for providing a single user multiple presence implementation may include providing access for a user identified by a user account to a virtual environment hosted by a computer. The method may further include generating multiple avatars for the user account to concurrently coexist and be operative within the virtual environment. The method may further include controlling the multiple avatars at least partly in response to input from the user. The method may further include communicating virtual environment data regarding more than one of the multiple avatars to at least one client operated by the user. An apparatus for performing the method may include a processor coupled to a memory holding encoded instructions for performing operations of the method on a computer configured as a network entity.
