    Abstract: There is provided a method for user navigation of virtual environments across a plurality of devices. The method includes: executing a first instance of a game at a first device, wherein the game comprises a virtual environment comprising one or more interactive elements; receiving data relating to a current state of the first instance; and executing a second instance of the game at least in part based on the received data relating to the current state of the first instance, where at least one of the one or more interactive elements is omitted in a virtual environment of the second instance, and where a user of a second device is able to control navigation of the virtual environment of the second instance

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for coordinating multiplayer game sessions are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: determining that a first user associated with a first user device is viewing game content created by a second user associated with a second user device; in response to determining that the first user is viewing the game content created by the second user, determining whether the first user satisfies criteria for joining a multiplayer game session with the second user; in response to determining that the first user satisfies criteria for joining the multiplayer game session with the second user, causing a selectable input element to join a queue of players to participate in the multiplayer game session with the second user to be presented on the first user device; in response to determining that the selectable input element to join the queue of players has been selected on the first user device, adding the first user to a position of the queue of players; in response to determining that the first user can participate in the multiplayer games session based on the position within the queue of players, causing an invitation to join the multiplayer game session to be presented on the first user device; in response to determining that the invitation to join the multiplayer game session has been accepted on the first user device, causing the first user to be added to the multiplayer game session; causing the multiplayer game session to begin on the first user device, wherein the multiplayer game session includes at least the first user and the second user; and in response to determining that the multiplayer game session has ended, removing the first user from the multiplayer game session.

    Abstract: Non-players can vote and comment on uploaded video clips or livestreams of video games played by video game players. The video game players that upload the clips or do the livestreaming and that then receive the most votes can be awarded digital awards. The non-players providing the best comments can also be awarded digital awards. This incentivizes these behaviors, providing ample training data in the process so that the votes and comments can be used to train a model to make inferences related to video game video. For instance, the model may be trained to provide auto-generated comments in real time as a second video game is played, where the comments are in video game domain-specific language.

    Abstract: A method includes: receiving a plurality of game streams; analyzing each game stream to recognize gameplay activity; obtaining spectating preferences of a user; determining a prioritization of the plurality of game streams based on the recognized gameplay activity and the spectating preferences of the user; providing a recommendation of at least some of the game streams for spectating based on the determined prioritization; responsive to receiving a selection of one of the recommended game streams, then providing the selected game stream for spectating by the user; during the spectating of the selected game stream by the user, monitoring the gameplay activity in the game streams, and updating the prioritization of the plurality of game streams; responsive to detecting a change in the prioritization of the plurality of game streams, then switching the user from the selected game stream to a second selected game stream.
