Abstract: In an example system according to the present embodiment, on a display, a map image is displayed and superimposed on a game image of a game space as viewed from a virtual camera provided behind a player character. When a user changes the orientation of a controller, the line-of-sight direction of the virtual camera is changed, and at the same time, the position of a cursor on the map image is changed. When the user presses down a predetermined button, a bullet is fired toward the center of a screen.
