    Abstract: A system and method for creating and/or administering operation of replayable activities for interactive content titles. The replayable activities may be competitive in nature and may be used to determine a ranking. A first set of data associated with an interactive content title may be received. The first set of data associated with the interactive content title may be received from an interactive content source server. The interactive content title may be is at least partially hosted at the interactive content source server. The first set of data may be associated with a replayable activity for the interactive content title. A score may be determined based on the first set of data for an associated user account. The associated user account may be placed in the ranking based on scores of other user accounts and respective sets of data associated with the replayable activity for the interactive content title.

    Abstract: In various examples, metadata of either a live stream game instance or a pre-recorded game instance may be included in a stream data from a game stream and used to enable access to play an instance of a game. A viewer of the stream may desire to participate in an instance of the game, and the system may use the metadata to determine authentication for the viewer with respect to a game platform hosting the game, access restrictions for the viewer with respect to the game, identification information for the streamer of the instance of the game, and/or game modification information for the particular instance of the game within the stream. This information may be used to seamlessly transition the viewer from a passive role in viewing the stream of the instance of the game on a streaming platform to actively participating in the instance of the game or another instance of the game on a gaming platform.

    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to the application of coordinated or cooperative effects to a coordinated activity. A coordinated activity protocol is provided for synchronizing interactive effects and experiences across multiple devices. The protocol allows effects to be initiated and coordinated on multiple devices via a real-time communications (RTC) channel. Messages may be exchanged to cooperatively initiate the effect, and (once initiated) generic data may be exchanged via application programming interface (API) calls. According to some embodiments, the coordinated activity is a shared video experience, such as a video conference or shared video-watching experience. According to other embodiments, the coordinated activity relates to other types of experiences, such as single- or multi-player games, shared book reading, communal interactions with a photo album, etc.
