摘要: The disclosed computer-implemented methods and systems include generating an adaptive control layout in connection with a video game and for a second screen device while the video game is being played via a physically separate first screen device. For example, the disclosed methods and systems can determine that a trigger event has occurred relative to the video game based on control inputs from video game controls displayed on the second screen device. The disclosed systems and methods can generate a new control layout that is tailored to the trigger event. The disclosed systems and methods can automatically replace the first control layout with the second control layout on the second screen device without interrupting video game play. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

The method including draining a first encoded slice from the buffer to stream the first encoded slice at a buffer drain rate over a network to a client, wherein the first encoded slice is streamed over the network before fully encoding the one or more slices of the video frame.

摘要: A method for managing a multi-user animation platform is disclosed. A three-dimensional space within a computer memory is modeled. An avatar of a client is located within the three-dimensional space, the avatar being graphically represented by a three-dimensional figure within the three-dimensional space. The avatar is responsive to client input commands, and the three-dimensional figure includes a graphical representation of client activity. The client input commands are monitored to determine client activity. The graphical representation of client activity is then altered according to an inactivity scheme when client input commands are not detected. Following a predetermined period of client inactivity, the inactivity scheme varies non-repetitively with time.

The method may further include generating multiple avatars for the user account to concurrently coexist and be operative within the virtual environment. The method may further include communicating virtual environment data regarding more than one of the multiple avatars to at least one client operated by the user. An apparatus for performing the method may include a processor coupled to a memory holding encoded instructions for performing operations of the method on a computer configured as a network entity.

State data indicating a second game state of the second game process related to each of a plurality of the opponents is sequentially acquired, and a display image including a first image reflecting a first game state of the first game process and a plurality of second images reflecting the second game states indicated by the state data is sequentially generated. The display image is sequentially generated such that the first image is arranged in a first area located at a center of the display image, a second area is located at a position at each of right and left sides of the first area, and the second images are arranged in the respective second areas at the right and left sides. An instruction that changes a game state of the target is made if a game state of the user satisfies a predetermined condition.
