    摘要: A sheet metal-made cup-shaped material including a circular base plate portion and a cylindrical portion extends from an outer peripheral edge portion of the base plate portion in one direction along the axis of the base plate portion. An annular groove is formed in an upper end portion of the cylindrical portion, whereby an annular projection that projects in a direction opposite to a direction along which the cylindrical portion extends is formed in the cylindrical portion. The annular projection and the cylindrical portion are clampingly pressed to a degree at which the annular groove at least disappears, whereby the outer circumferential face of the projection and the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical portion are flush with each other. Therefore, the axial length of a sheet metal-made back face pulley is increased, and the whole of the increased axial length can be used as the effective length.

    摘要: A non-circular sprocket component comprises a rotor (11) having a plurality of teeth (16) arranged around the perimeter of the rotor, each tooth having a crown (9), and each pair of adjacent teeth having a valley (8) therebetween. The crowns of the teeth lie on a curved envelope forming the perimeter of the motor. The perimeter has a non-circular profile having at least two protruding portions (22, 23) alternating with receding portions (24, 25). The distance between the midpoints (V) of the crowns (9) of each pair of adjacent teeth is substantially the same. The profile of the valley (8) between each pair of adjacent teeth is substantially the same. The distance between the midpoint (V), of each crown (9) and the axis (A) of the rotor varies around the perimeter to produce the said non-circular profile.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a torsional vibration damper housing, especially the housing for a viscosity torsional vibration damper, whereby the damper housing is manufactured from an existing plate circular blank and the shaping of the damper housing occurs in an impact extrusion machine during a non-cutting impact extrusion shaping method. In successive impact extrusion shaping steps, all parts of the damper housing protruding from the plane of the plate circular blank, which forms the housing rear wall, are impact extruded while reducing the wall thickness of said parts to form a one-piece damper housing. Said damper housing is structured such that the area of the fastening flange has the largest thickness.

A crankshaft damper having a hub portion and pulley ring and an elastomeric member disposed in an annular space between them is clamped in a tool after initial assembly. A tool having jaw teeth on oppositely disposed, cooperating jaws engages the crankshaft damper hub portion and pulley ring on either side of the elastomeric member. The tool jaws press on the hub portion and pulley ring to create beads or crimps on the hub portion and the pulley ring. The beads or crimps are formed in cooperating groups or sets. They press the elastomeric member into the form of a curve or wave. The curve or wave mechanically locks the hub portion and pulley ring together, thereby locking the elastomeric member in place between them.

The V-block is formed by punching a V-block press material with a main punch and a counter punch. The V-block press material has a sectional view including an outer portion of about uniform width and a tapered inner portion with a slant gently inclined toward an innermost end of the material from a place distant from a rocking edge by a predetermined distance inward. The main punch and the counter punch have front shapes of the substantially same as that of the V-block, and either punch facing the rocking edge has a slant starting at a place corresponding to the rocking edge and extending inward rising gradually.

    摘要: A cog belt pulley system includes cog belt pulleys (10a to 10c) each with at least one flange (15 to 17) protruding in the radial direction beyond the toothed circumferential surface (11) and extending in the circumferential direction to limit slipping of the belt (20, 30, 40) at right angles to the circumferential direction of the pulleys (10a to 10c). Said flange is provided only as a segment over a limited part of the circumferential surface in the circumferential direction of the pulleys. A belt is mounted on two pulleys by the pulleys being rotated into a position in which the particular flange segments face each other. In this position the belt can be pushed onto the pulleys without colliding with the flange segments. This substantially facilitates mounting and replacement of the belts. No separate measures are required, such as removing the flange before pushing on the belt or separately pretensioning an overly long belt after its mounting. Thus, constructional and maintenance effort are reduced.
