The machine tool includes a machine bed, which has a chip collection region having at least one conveying channel open on the working space side for collecting chips that drop during the machining of the workpiece, and a conveying device for leading away chips that have dropped into the chip collection region in the at least one conveying channel. The conveying device has a stationary supporting shaft, which extends in the at least one conveying channel in the longitudinal direction of the conveying channel, wherein a spiral element is rotatably supported on the stationary supporting shaft, and wherein the conveying device also comprises a drive for driving the rotational motion of the spiral element about the stationary supporting shaft.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a transmission case housing is provided wherein a minimum quantity of lubrication as a compressed air/oil mist is supplied as the housing is rough bored and face milled. The transmission case defines a plurality of transmission fluid drainage holes for draining transmission fluid from the transmission when installed in a vehicle. The housing is positioned with the fluid drainage holes below a central axis of the housing and a plurality of internal bores and faces are bored and face milled on the housing. The compressed air/oil mist is sprayed from the cutting head to cool and lubricate the boring and face milling tools. Machining chips are blown off the rough bored housing through the fluid drainage holes.
Abstract:
A machining device is provided with a machine tool, a pallet to which a workpiece is secured, a pallet changer configured to move and change the pallet, and a workpiece attaching unit configured to attach and detach the workpiece to and from the pallet. Further, the machining device is provided with a visual sensor configured to capture an image of the pallet, and contaminants that may possibly cause jamming as the workpiece is supplied to the pallet are detected from the image captured by the visual sensor. A workpiece supply operation for the pallet is suspended if the contaminants are detected.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A power tool comprising: a body (103); a dust catching attachment (120) attachable to the body (103); an engagement mechanism portion (151) which engages the body (103) with the dust catching attachment (120); and a spacing member that biases the body (103) and the dust catching attachment (120) in a state that the body (103) and the dust catching attachment (120) are engaged to each other by the engagement mechanism portion (151).
Abstract:
A machine tool includes: a bed, the upper surface of which has the table provided thereon; a cut debris duct which is provided so as to extend rearward from a cut debris discharge opening open at the center, in the left-right direction, of the rear face of the bed, and which discharges cut debris from within the bed to outside of the machine tool; a bifurcated vertically movable body which vertically moves along a pair of vertical guides, and which straddles the cut debris duct, the pair of vertical guides vertically extending on the rear face of the bed at positions on both the left and right sides of the cut debris duct; and a pair of left and right feed screws which extend parallel to the vertical guides, and which move the vertically movable body along the vertical guides.
Abstract:
A process fluid circulation type processing system has a processing apparatus that supplies a process fluid to a workpiece held on a chuck table. A process fluid supplying apparatus adds a surface active agent to pure water to produce the process fluid at a predetermined concentration and then supplies the process fluid to the processing apparatus. A pure water generating apparatus removes processing dust and impurities including the surface active agent from waste fluid discharged from the processing apparatus to thereby generate the pure water and then supplies the pure water to the process fluid supplying apparatus. The process fluid supplying apparatus includes a pure water passage, a pure water flow meter for measuring the flow rate of the pure water, and a surface active agent supplying unit for supplying the surface active agent to the pure water downstream of the pure water flow meter.
Abstract:
A conveyer apparatus for discharging chips is disclosed herein. The conveyer apparatus includes a tank body, a conveyer unit, and an opening/closing unit. The tank body is configured such that the tank body is configured in the form of a container body, an inlet is formed in the top surface of one side of the tank body, and a chip outlet is formed in the bottom surface of the remaining side of the tank body. The conveyer unit is installed in the form of a caterpillar spaced apart from the inner walls of the tank body, and has at least one opening so that the inner and outer spaces of the conveyer unit communicate. The opening/closing unit is installed to block the opening, and operates so as to open the opening when the corresponding opening passes through a surface opposite the inner bottom surface of the tank body.
Abstract:
A fitting having a cover tube connected to one end and a pressure line in the fitting, connected to a rigid tube projecting from the fitting and through the cover tube. The method includes projecting a rigid tube in a masonry bore, and applying pressurized air to blow debris from the bore to be captured in a cover tube.
Abstract:
A cutting fluid passageway that supplies a cutting fluid is disposed in a machining space (inside of a machine tool) of a machining tool isolated by a cover. The cutting fluid passageway is formed so that the upper portion thereof is opened in the passageway direction. Then, the cutting fluid is supplied from the cutting fluid passageway to a workpiece and a tool during machining or to the inside of the machine tool on which scattered chips produced by the processing are accumulated.
