    摘要: A clamping device for releasably holding a tool holder shank formed with a bore includes a housing having a forwardly facing surface and a bore. A drawbar is mounted reciprocally movable inside the bore and in a forward end has engagement device, which is arranged to engage with an engagement formation inside the bore of the tool holder shank. The drawbar is, in a rear portion, formed with a drawbar aperture, and a cam shaft extending through the drawbar aperture and being rotatably journalled in the housing and arranged to impart an axial displacement to the drawbar in relation to the housing. The cam shaft includes first and second spaced apart cam formations and an intermediate circular cylindrical portion located between the cam formations, wherein the first and second cam formations are journalled in a first and second seating apertures, respectively, in the housing on opposite sides of the drawbar.

    摘要: In a machine tool spindle device, a draw bar is arranged inside a center hole of a spindle, and a disc spring is arranged inside a spring member arrangement space between the draw bar and the center hole. A draw bar inner pipe is inserted inside a through hole of the draw bar, and the interior of the draw bar inner pipe is used as a coolant passage. A gap between the draw bar inner pipe and the through hole is used as an air passage for supplying the purge air, and the interior of the spring member arrangement space is used as a coolant supply passage for supplying coolant to cooling jackets of the spindle.

    摘要: In a method and a machine tool for machining metallic workpieces, a cooling device is provided to supply a cryogenic coolant to a first tool and a precooling device is provided to supply the cryogenic coolant to a second tool. The first tool is held in a first chuck and processes a workpiece, with the first tool during processing being cooled via the cryogenic coolant. The second tool is held in a second chuck and will subsequently be used for processing the workpiece. The second tool is supplied via the precooling device with the cryogenic coolant and thus cooled to the operating temperature required for processing. Due to the fact that the second tool is precooled to the required processing temperature, after the change of tools, the processing of the workpiece can be continued immediately. By precooling the second tool during the primary processing time, the total processing time of the workpiece is reduced, providing the machine tool with higher productivity.

    摘要: The machine tool includes a saddle, a table which moves relative to the saddle, a telescopic cover fixed to the saddle, and a wiper fixed to the table. The telescopic cover protects a guide member which supports the saddle in such a manner as to be capable of moving with respect to the bed. When chips generated by the working of a workpiece placed on the table have deposited on the surface of the telescopic cover, the wiper fixed to the table removes the chips by the movement of the table and causes the chips to fall.
