An adjustment element adjusts the position of the first part in relation to the second part. The first and second parts have a first bore and a second bore for receiving the fastening element and a recess (118, 128) for receiving the adjustment element. The first part has an abutment surface (115) placed onto a contact surface (122) of the second part, such that the central axes (A-A) for the first and second bores become parallel. The abutment surface of the first part and the contact surface of the second part are inclined in relation to the feeding axis (G-G) of the work piece towards the cutting tool (150).

The first coupling part has a first body and a conical pin, which extends from the first body along a center axis (x) to an end surface. The conical pin is insertable into a conical seat. The conical pin comprises a cavity, which extends from the end surface and comprises a number of first protuberances, which are separated and arranged at a distance from each other along a circumferential direction in respect to the center axis so that there are formed a corresponding number of first recesses. The first protuberances form a respective first contact surface and interact with a corresponding number of separated, second contact surfaces of a pull member of the second coupling part. The first contact surfaces form an acute angle with the center axis.

    摘要: A clamping device for releasably holding a tool holder shank formed with a bore includes a housing having a forwardly facing surface and a bore. A drawbar is mounted reciprocally movable inside the bore and which in a forward end has engagement device, which is arranged to engage with an engagement formation inside the bore of the tool holder shank. The drawbar is, in a rear portion, formed with a drawbar aperture extending through the drawbar in a transverse direction in relation to a longitudinal axis of the same, and a cam shaft extending through the drawbar aperture and being rotatably journalled in the housing and arranged to impart an axial displacement to the drawbar in relation to the housing. The cam shaft includes first and second spaced apart cam formations and an intermediate circular cylindrical portion located between the cam formations, wherein the first and second cam formations are journalled in a first and second seating apertures, respectively, in the housing on opposite sides of the drawbar. The intermediate circular cylindrical portion is extended through the drawbar aperture, and the drawbar is insertable into the bore through the forwardly facing surface.

The first and second components each include peripheral and central coupling threads which each extend in a helical direction about a component axis of the respective component. Each component's peripheral and central coupling threads are axially offset with respect to each other. The first and second components each include a radial stop surface located at the respective peripheral coupling thread. In an assembled position of the cutting tool, the radial stop surfaces abut each other and the peripheral and central coupling threads of the first component threadingly engage the peripheral and central coupling threads of the second component, respectively, forming a differential tool coupling between the first and second components.

The auxiliary clamp clamps a tool holder together with the main clamp during fixing a fixed tool. The double arm exchanges a tool holder grasped at the first gripper for another tool holder grasped at the second gripper by rotating and sliding movements. The auxiliary clamp is arranged at a position not interfering with the double arm that moves during exchanging tool holders. By such a configuration, a machine tool achieving a clamping force sufficient to withstand the load during a turning process, and that allows tool exchange in a short period of time, and a tool holder employed in such a machine tool, can be provided.
