    Abstract: A cutting apparatus includes a cutting unit including a spindle as a rotational shaft and a mount flange for mounting a cutting blade thereon, the mount flange being fixed to a distal end of the spindle, a support unit for supporting a cutting blade housed in a blade case, the support unit including a blade case support for supporting the blade case for housing the cutting blade therein, a changing mechanism for dismounting a cutting blade that has been mounted on the mount flange from the mount flange and mounting the cutting blade that has been supported on the support unit on the mount flange, and a moving mechanism for moving the changing mechanism between a changing position, a blade transfer position, and a retracted position.

    Abstract: An automated conveying apparatus includes: a base unit; and a pivot supported by the base unit in a manner rotatable about a first axis. The pivot has a holding portion for detachably holding a conveyance object, and a turning mechanism which is configured to cause the holding portion to pivot about a turning center axis orthogonal to the first axis, the holding portion and the turning mechanism opposing each other in an axial direction of the turning center axis. The first axis is located at a position between the holding portion and the turning mechanism in the axial direction of the turning center axis, the position being closer to the holding portion than the turning mechanism.

    Abstract: A machining apparatus includes a first frame including a first surface formed along a Z-axis direction and a second surface formed along a Y-axis direction. An X-axis moving mechanism and a Z-axis moving mechanism are disposed on the first surface side of the first frame. A Y-axis moving mechanism is disposed on the second surface side of the first frame. A second frame supports the first frame from the second surface side of the first frame. An A-axis rotating mechanism, a B-axis rotating mechanism, and a supporting mechanism that supports an object to be machined are moved by the Y-axis moving mechanism.     Abstract: A combined transfer and storage device for machining comprises a storage level, a transfer device, at least one machining interface, and a feeding interface. The storage level comprises two or more storages that are spaced apart from one another in a longitudinal direction and having storage spaces for workpiece carriers, which are arranged one above the other for holding blanks or machined workpieces. The transfer device extends in the longitudinal direction. The machining interface is used for directly or mediately coupling with a machine tool. The feeding interface is accessible for a driverless transport vehicle. The transfer device accomplishes a workpiece transfer between the feeding interface, the storage level and the at least one machining interface. A manufacturing line is provided with a combined transfer and storage device and with at least one manufacturing system having at least one machine tool and a handling cell that is arranged between a machining interface of the combined transfer and storage device and the machine tool.

    Abstract: A boring-bar arrangement includes a boring bar, a securing device, and a clamping bolt. The securing device has a reduction sleeve, which is secured in a tool chuck, which has a front end that faces away from the tool chuck and a protruding hollow section which receives the boring bar. The hollow section has a hollow-section interior, a hollow-section outer wall, and a hollow-section wall which is arranged therebetween. The hollow-section wall has a first thickness in a side region where the cutting tool protrudes from the boring bar which is less than a second thickness in a rest of the hollow-section wall. The boring bar is releasably secured as a replaceable head, via its back end, at a front end of the protruding hollow section. A front end of the clamping bolt has a male thread which sits in the female thread of the boring bar.

    Abstract: A tool rack magazine for a machine tool for chip removal machining of workpieces, particularly workpieces consisting of metal. The rack magazine includes a tool holding device including a setup unit. The setup unit can be moved into and out of a storage space of tool holding device. Along the tool holding device including setup unit a loader passage with a movable loader is provided. Because a separation device is provided between setup unit and storage space, the machine tool can be operated independent from the position of the setup unit. In doing so, a main time concurrent setup is made possible.
