    Abstract: An impact tool includes a housing, an impact mechanism unit, a motor, and a dust collection fan. The housing is configured to mount a dust collection attachment. The impact mechanism unit is disposed inside the housing. The impact mechanism unit has a front end to which a tool bit is mounted and an impact element that reciprocates. The impact mechanism unit is configured to impact the tool bit by the impact element. The motor is disposed such that a rotation shaft of the motor intersects with an impact axis direction of the impact mechanism unit inside the housing. The dust collection fan is disposed on the rotation shaft. The dust collection fan is disposed below the motor.

The flow path is provided with discharge ports via which a coolant liquid supplied from the coolant-liquid supply path is discharged toward surfaces of the hand members that are exposed to an outside, and a pressure of the coolant liquid causes an opening operation or a closing operation of the hand members.

    Abstract: A drive shaft for a machine tool, for example a core drilling machine, able to be connected to a drilling tool, in particular a core bit, is disclosed. The drive shaft contains a cavity which substantially extends over the whole length of the drive shaft and along the rotational axis. The cavity contains at least one inflow opening where, through the at least one inflow opening, water can be fed along the drive shaft into the drilling tool. In the drive shaft, an insertion device is provided in the cavity, through which water is guided for cooling the drive shaft, firstly, in a first direction and then in a second direction, where the water comes into direct contact with the inner side of the cavity at least in the first direction.

    Abstract: In a radiating structure for a main spindle having a tapered bore formed at a distal end of the main spindle, into which a tapered portion of a tool holder is mounted, a key fixing member provided with a drive key is fixed to the distal end of the main spindle, and the drive key is fit into a key groove formed in the tool holder. This configuration prevents a phase shift in rotation direction of the tool holder arising from rotation of the main spindle. A radiating member which exchanges heat with an ambient atmosphere is provided to the key fixing member provided with the drive key.

    Abstract: In a precision machine tool wherein a spindle head 20 that is movable in the up and down direction is disposed on a column 14 disposed on a bed 10 and a water storage space for storing temperature-regulated cooling water is formed inside the column 14, the column 14 has, in a lower part thereof, intake ports 38a and 38b through which cooling water is led into the water storage space, the column 14 has, in an upper part thereof, a drain opening 40 through which a cooling water is led outside, and an air vent hole 49 through which air in the column is discharged is formed at a position higher than the drain opening 40.
