摘要: A self-cleaning conduit for a hydrocarbon fluid. The conduit includes a tube having an interior surface defining a flow passage for the hydrocarbon fluid. The tube is formed of (i) a shape memory alloy or (ii) a first metal and a second metal having a coefficient of thermal expansion different from the first metal. At least one of a plurality of recesses and a plurality of protrusions are formed on the interior surface of the tube within the flow passage. The tube is characterized by a conduit contortion factor (CCF) from two tenths degrees Fahrenheit (0.2° F.) to fourteen degrees Fahrenheit (14° F.), and the conduit contortion factor (CCF) is one of an elastic conduit contortion factor (CCFE) and thermal expansion conduit contortion factor (CCFTE).

摘要: Various examples of a tool for lubricating a boat steering cable are described, along with examples of using the tool. In one example, a tool for lubricating a boat steering cable includes a lubricator barrel and a threaded lubricator pin. The lubricator barrel includes an outer cylindrical surface, a first end surface, and a second end surface. The lubricator barrel also includes a central barrel cavity extending from the first end surface, along a longitudinal centerline of the lubricator barrel, and a pin cavity extending from the outer cylindrical surface to the central barrel cavity. In some cases, the lubricator barrel also includes a first o-ring seat, a second o-ring seat, or both. The first o-ring seat is positioned at one end of the central barrel cavity and the second o-ring seat is positioned at the outer cylindrical surface of the pin cavity.

The lubrication system includes a fluid reservoir containing a fluid, a fluid line coupled to the fluid reservoir; and the lubricating tube, which is disposed between the fluid line and the rolling component. The lubricating tube includes a rigid cylindrical body surrounding a cavity and having an outer circumferential surface. An inlet of the lubricating tube is coupled to the fluid line and provides fluid communication between the fluid line and the cavity. A plurality of ports is disposed on the outer circumferential surface and is configured to dispense the fluid to the rolling component. A location of each port of the plurality of ports from the inlet is customizable.

A fluid conduit receives the fluid at a fluid input opening to an internal fluid conduit that extends upward towards the air space. A heat exchanger portion extends sufficiently near the air space to provide a thermal exchange with the air space. The heat exchanger receives fluid to provide a cooling of the air space. The internal fluid conduit continues extending downward from the air space to a fluid output opening for distribution to a system that uses the fluid.

An inclination angle a of the nozzle with respect to an axial direction is set to a value within a range from 50° to 90°.
