摘要: A tool head for a machine tool, in particular for a gear cutting machine, has a first and a second spindle unit each having at least one spindle bearing and a spindle shaft which is rotatably mounted in the respective spindle bearing about a tool spindle axis. The respective spindle bearing can support both radial and axial forces. The spindle units are arranged coaxially to each other, and a tool is received axially between the spindle shafts. A controlled clamping device connects the spindle bearings together. A control device activates the clamping device during a machining operation and deactivates it during machining pauses. Alternatively or additionally, the tool head has an axial force element that generates an axial preload force between the spindle bearings.

摘要: A dental milling machine is provided with a tool which is guided in a chuck. A workpiece arm is mounted opposite the tool to be able to be moved at least in the direction of the spindle axis. With a control device it can be moved in relation to the workpiece, especially by means of a drive motor of the workpiece arm.The workpiece arm has an abutment element, whereby the control device moves the tool and the abutment element towards each other until they abut each other. The control device can be used to detect abutment of the abutment element with respect to the tool, in particular with respect to its tip, in particular by decelerating the (relative) movement of the tool and the abutment element towards each another, upon contact of the tool and the abutment element. This position may be signaled as a reference position and, especially may be stored.

The motor controller includes a time measuring part which measures a spindle stopping time from when a free-run of the spindle motor accelerated to a predetermined number of rotations is started to when the spindle motor is stopped, a storing part which stores the spindle stopping time measured by the time measuring part, and a comparing part which compares a plurality of data with respect to the spindle stopping time stored in the storing part, and judges as to whether or not an abnormality exists in the spindle or the spindle motor.

摘要: A clamping and positioning device includes a base, a rotary member, a moving assembly and an elastic member. The rotary member is rotatably disposed on the base and includes a stopping surface facing the base. The moving assembly includes a moving member movably disposed on the base to have a first and a second position. When being at the first position, the moving member is pressed against the rotary member to allow the stopping surface to apply a normal force to the base; when being at the second position, a gap is formed between the moving member and the rotary member so the normal force applied by the stopping surface of the rotary member is released from the base. The elastic member has two ends connected to the base and the moving member, respectively. The elastic member normally causes the moving member to be at the first position.
