    Abstract: A dust collection cup allows a bit tip to be viewable without being detached or replaced. A dust collection cup is attachable to a front cylindrical portion of a hammer drill. The dust collection cup in an attached state allows a bit attached to the front cylindrical portion to extend through the dust collection cup. The dust collection cup includes an attachment attachable to the front cylindrical portion, and a body connectable to the attachment. The body includes an extendable unit including at least a portion in an axial direction retaining a predetermined length.

    Abstract: A drilling apparatus includes an attachment box configured to couple to a machine tool. The drilling apparatus facilitates formation of a hole in a workpiece with workpiece structure that results in a large offset distance from a start location of the hole to the machine tool, restricted access to the start location, or both. The drilling apparatus includes a bearing housing coupled to the attachment box. The bearing housing includes a pair of bearings. The drilling apparatus includes a shaft position through the bearing housing to couple to the bearings. The shaft includes an end effector interface configured to couple to one or more end effectors of the machine tool at a first end of the shaft. The shaft includes a tool interface configured to couple to a tool at a second end of the shaft. The drilling apparatus also includes an offset foot coupled to the bearing housing.

    Abstract: A debris collection assembly includes a jig and an adapter insert. The jig includes a front wall and a back wall opposite the front wall. The front wall defines an aperture therethrough. The back wall defines an adapter opening that aligns with the aperture. The jig includes a vacuum port and defines an interior cavity that fluidly connects the aperture, the adapter opening, and the vacuum port. The adapter insert is removably loaded through the adapter opening into the interior cavity of the jig. The adapter insert defines an orifice sized to receive a drill bit and allow the drill bit to extend through the aperture in the front wall to drill into a work piece. Negative pressure at the vacuum port draws airflow through the interior cavity and captures debris generated from drilling.

    Abstract: A pneumatic system that eliminates stops due to dirt in the lasers of an Autonomous Drilling Machine uses the resources of the equipment (Compressed Air) to maintain a positive pressure inside the metal protectors of the lasers, thus preventing the entry of dust in suspension and keeping the lasers clean. This avoids unduly stops of the machine due to dust contamination. The system uses a pneumatic control board connected through a flexible line to the machine's compressor's manifold, a frame, a pressure regulator, and a filter. The protectors for the lasers have perforations that allow the installation of diffusors. The diffusors are installed in the protectors to allow entrance of contamination-free compressed air. A flexible line, with its fittings and couplings, connects the pneumatic control board to each of the diffusors.
