    摘要: A machine tool with a chip evacuation device according to the present invention is provided with a cleaning mechanism for cleaning a part or the whole of the chip evacuation device and a control unit configured to control respective operations of the chip evacuation device and the cleaning mechanism in association with each other. By using an electric motor, such as a synchronous motor capable of position control, as a power source for the chip evacuation device, the respective operations of the chip evacuation device and the cleaning mechanism can be associated with each other to effectively clean the chip evacuation device.

    摘要: A chip conveyor includes a pair of endless chains arranged in parallel, a drive mechanism turning the endless chains, a cover body having a chip receiving port and a chip discharge port at a beginning and an end of a forward path of the endless chains, respectively, scrapers connected to the endless chains therebetween, and a chip guide plate disposed along the endless chains to be in sliding contact with the scrapers. The chip guide plate is composed of a forward path corresponding part extending from the receiving port to the discharge port and a return path corresponding part bent toward a return path at the receiving port and extended along the return path. The scrapers are in sliding contact with both the return path corresponding part and a surface of the cover body facing the return path corresponding part when in sliding contact with the return path corresponding part.

    摘要: A chip conveyer for a machine tool includes a casing including a chip introducing port and a chip discharging port, and a chip carrying mechanism arranged in the casing so as to extend from the chip introducing port to the chip discharging port. Chips dropped in the casing through the chip introducing port are carried to the chip discharging port by the chip carrying mechanism. A partition plate partitioning an inside of the casing up and down is arranged in the casing, and a portion of the partition plate below the chip introducing port is configured to be openable and closable. A carrying direction of the chip carrying mechanism when the partition plate is in an open state and a carrying direction of the chip carrying mechanism when the partition plate is in a closed state are set to be opposite directions.

    摘要: A chip conveyor which discharges chips produced by a machine tool from the inside of a splash guard is provided inside the splash guard that prevents the chips from being scattered. A chip carrying unit of the chip conveyor is attached to the splash guard so as to be movable with respect to the splash guard in the up and down direction. Accordingly, even when the chips are stuck between the chip carrying unit and the splash guard, the chip carrying unit automatically moves, and hence the chip stuck state may be resolved.

In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a subset of guide members constituting a staging region, a loader member configured to impart a loading force unto the work piece to transition the work piece from the staging region, and an effector coupled to the loader member. The effector is configured to apply a cleaning force to a path in a first interval of time and is configured further to transfer the loading force from the loader member to the work piece in a second interval of time, and an alignment device configured to align the subset of guide members and the effector to form a portion of the path in a first mode.
