Abstract: A vacuum adiabatic body includes: a first plate member; a second plate member; a sealing part sealing the first plate member and the second plate member to provide a third space in a vacuum state; a supporting unit; a heat resistance unit for decreasing a heat transfer amount between the first plate member and the second plate member; and an exhaust port through which a gas in the third space is exhausted. The heat resistance unit includes a conductive resistance sheet capable of resisting heat conduction flowing along a wall for the third space, and a side frame fastened to the conductive resistance sheet to define at least one portion of the wall for the third space. Accordingly, a vacuum adiabatic body may be capable of resisting heat conduction.

Abstract: A structure for wireless communication having a plurality of conductor layers, an insulator layer separating each of the conductor layers, and at least one connector connecting two of the conductor layers wherein an electrical resistance is reduced when an electrical signal is induced in the resonator at a predetermined frequency. Abstract: Food stuffs are cooked at precise temperatures, which are optionally below 100° C., in a vessel that is evacuated to exclude air, in which low pressure steam replaces the air. When a sufficient quantity of air is excluded and replaced with water vapor, the temperature of vapor is accurately measured inside the vessel below the lid to control the temperatures within about 1° C. Air is preferably excluded via a controlled heated process for a relatively short period of time at high temperature to generate steam, the temperature is lowered to condense water vapor upon which the lid will sealingly engage the rim of the vessel, forming a partial vacuum in the cooking vessel.

Abstract: A fast charging method for an electronic device is disclosed. The method includes obtaining, when the electronic device has a successful communication handshake with a USB host device using the USB interface, a corresponding charging data set of the electronic device under the charging current threshold by means of measurement according to a preset charging current threshold. The charging current threshold includes at least a first charging current threshold and a second charging current threshold. The charging data set includes at least a corresponding first charging voltage value and a corresponding first charging current value of the electronic device under the first charging current threshold, and a corresponding second charging voltage value and a corresponding second charging current value of the electronic device under the second charging current threshold. The method further includes determining, according to the charging data set, a maximum charging current value.

Abstract: An RF generation system is provided for an electromagnetic cooking device having a cavity. The system includes: a signal generator for generating an input RF signal; an RF feed configured to introduce electromagnetic radiation into the cavity and to receive reflected electromagnetic radiation from the cavity; and a high-power amplifier coupled between the signal generator and the RF feed. The high-power amplifier including an amplifying stage configured to output a signal that is amplified in power, and a circulator for directing the amplified output signal to the RF feed and for redirecting any reflected radiation received from the RF feed to a dummy load. The system further includes a hardware protection component for detecting backward power in the reflected radiation and for reducing power supplied to the amplifying stage if the backward power exceeds a power threshold within a time scale that prevents damage to the circulator.

Abstract: Method of irradiating a load placed in a cavity by radiating UHF or microwave radiation into the cavity. The method includes setting transmission durations, by setting for each of a plurality of frequencies, a respective transmission duration, repeatedly causing energy to be transmitted into the cavity at the plurality of frequencies according to a duty cycle, wherein the duty cycle defines an allotted transmission time for each of the plurality of frequencies, and switching ON or OFF transmission of the energy at certain frequencies, so that over a plurality of repetitions of the duty cycle the energy is transmitted at each of the plurality of frequencies for the respective transmission duration.
