    Abstract: A cooking adjustment system for a cooking appliance includes a body that defines a cooking cavity. A steam generator system is coupled to the body. The steam generator system is configured to inject steam into the cooking cavity. An air temperature sensor is disposed within the cooking cavity and configured to sense a dry bulb temperature. A food probe has multiple food temperature sensors. At least one of the food temperature sensors is configured to sense a surface temperature of a food item. A controller is communicatively coupled to the steam generator system, the air temperature sensor, and the food probe. The controller is configured to determine a wet bulb temperature utilizing the surface temperature of the food. The controller is configured to adjust relative humidity within the cooking cavity in response to at least one of the wet bulb temperature and the dry bulb temperature.

    Abstract: A microwave appliance includes a cabinet defining a cooking chamber, a magnetron, a temperature sensor directed toward the cooking chamber, and a controller. The controller is configured to measure a raw temperature of the cooking chamber, determine a calibrated temperature from the raw temperature and a conversion model, determine a preheat power level for the magnetron, and operate the magnetron at the preheat power level. The controller is further configured to determine a calibrated chamber temperature using a chamber temperature and a preheat conversion model and determine the calibrated chamber temperature has reached a target temperature. The controller is further configured to monitor a calibrated cooking temperature, based on a cooking temperature and a cooking conversion model, and operate the magnetron to a cooking power level to maintain the calibrated cooking temperature at the target temperature. A method of operating a microwave appliance with a temperature sensor is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A heating cooking apparatus includes a microwave supply unit, an image capturing unit, a communication unit, and a controller. The microwave supply unit supplies microwaves to an object to be heated and heats the object to be heated. The image capturing unit captures an image of the object to be heated. The communication unit transmits an image capturing result generated by the image capturing unit to a server. The controller controls the microwave supply unit such that an intensity of microwaves is reduced to be less than an intensity of microwaves before the communication unit transmits the image capturing result while the communication unit transmits the image capturing result to the server. After the communication unit transmits the image capturing result, the controller controls the microwave supply unit such that at least one of an intensity of microwaves or a supply time period of the microwaves is increased.

    Abstract: A drawer-type microwave oven (200), and a door opening and closing control method for the drawer-type microwave oven (200). The drawer-type microwave oven (200) comprises: a cavity assembly; a drawer assembly, provided in the cavity assembly and used for containing food to be processed; a push rod assembly (2062), provided at the bottom of the cavity assembly and capable of pushing the drawer assembly out of or into the cavity assembly; a control panel (220), disposed on the cavity assembly, and provided with an “on/off” button for controlling the drawer assembly to be opened or closed; and a microprocessor (202), connected to the push rod assembly (2062) and/or the control panel (220) and used for controlling the operating state of the push rod assembly (2062) according to an instruction of the control panel (220). Automatic door opening and closing of the drawer-type microwave oven (200) can be controlled with one button. Moreover, when the drawer (2044) is moving, the button can be pressed for emergency braking. Thus, a plurality of operations can be implemented using only one button. The present invention is easy to operate and safe to use.
