摘要： Devices disclosed herein reduce splattering of food/beverage material on interior cooking appliance surfaces. A splatter-reducing device of the present technology may comprise: (1) a magnetic member magnetically coupled to an interior ceiling surface of a cooking appliance, the magnetic member comprising a magnet and a first coupling component affixed to a bottom surface of the magnet; (2) a support frame comprising a second coupling component removably coupled to the first coupling component such that the support frame is suspended within the cooking appliance; and (3) a splatter-reducing shroud supported by the support frame and shaped to enclose a central region for placing food or liquid heated within the cooking appliance. The splatter-reducing shroud (e.g., a disposable or washable material such as absorbent paper) may absorb or deflect ejected food or beverage material before the material can splatter on an interior surface of the cooking appliance.

摘要： A heating apparatus for multiple modes of heating including microwave heating in combination with other traditional modes of heating is disclosed, having a base; a grill configured with the base and adapted to support a container from a rim of the container holding the container in suspended position; a lid pivotally held with the base for movement between a raised open position and a lowered closed position over the container. At least one microwave generating device is coupled with the lid such that in closed position of the lid, microwave heating using the at least one microwave generating device can be done. A sensing mechanism comprising a plurality of plungers on periphery of the lid is provided such that when the lid is closed over the container, the plungers come in contact with top surface of the rim of the container to detect if the lid is properly closed over the container.

摘要： Methods of and device for retaining a moisture level of a food heated/reheated in a microwave oven are provided. The device includes a microwave splatter cover, a lid, or a lunch box integrated with a steam generator. The device is able to contain a steam generator capable of generating steam from added water when a microwave radiation is provided. The steam generator is able to rotatably couple with the center of the microwave cover. Water added to the cover is able to be temporary stored on the cover and subsequently flow to a dish structure underneath the cover. Alternatively, water is able to be added directly through a hole on the cover to the dish structure.

The opposite end portion of the waveguide may be opposite to the one end portion of the waveguide.
