The first electrical circuit having at least one circuit section having a transformer-coupled impedance formed by at least one transformer connected in parallel to a first impedance, and a pair of outputs that are adapted for establishing electrical contact with a device under test (DUT) configured to be disposed on a pair of transmission lines of the broadband telecommunication network.

    摘要： This invention presents a multimode xDSL line card adaptive activation method, comprising the following steps: A) A master controller is installed and configured with multiple templates based on the modes of operation supported by a line card, and forwards templates to said line card; B) The line card receives templates forwarded by the master controller and activates the line card communications chip; C) The communications chip communicates with the remote CPE and decides on a mode of operation according to a handshake protocol; D) The line card employs a corresponding template according to the mode of operation chosen in Step C, and practices circuit activation with the CPE. This invention solves the existing problems in current multimode xDSL technology of poor compatibility and inability to adapt effectively.

    摘要： A multiple-access contention-free environment is disclosed for a local area network without using centralized control and without using information contained in the data. Data collisions are eliminated by buffering data from connected devices when the bus (or other common transportation media) is not available for immediate use. In one embodiment, the buffering is controlled by hubs that can accept information or hold it up for a period of time until the buffer clears. Buffer fullness can be used, if desired, as a measure as to which buffer to draw from first. When buffers are full, signals are sent to the stations to reduce their access to the network on a temporary basis.
