Abstract: A method for predicting a structure of an indoor space using radio propagation channel analysis through deep-learning is disclosed. Channel data of radio signals are collected for various indoor spaces, and radio channel parameter data such as PDP, AoA, and AoD are extracted therefrom. A large amount of propagation channel parameter data is input to an artificial neural network together with vertex coordinate data of the corresponding indoor space and deep-learning is performed in advance. The propagation channel parameter data are extracted from the indoor space to be predicted, the best matching indoor space is detected based on the trained artificial neural network. The best matching indoor space is predicted as the structure of the indoor space.

Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for selecting fronthaul links in a wireless communication system. One or more link delays are determined. The link delays are associated with one or more communication links in the plurality of communication links communicatively coupling a first communication device and a second communication device. Using the determined link delays, a communication link transmission priority of the communication links for transmission of one or more data packets is determined. A listing of prioritized communication links is generated. At least one communication link in the prioritized communication links is selected for transmission of data packets between the first and second communication devices. Using the selected communication link, the data packets are transmitted between the first and second communication devices.

Abstract: A transportation vehicle, a traffic control entity, a method, a computer program, and an apparatus for determining a minimum inter-vehicular distance for a platoon. The method for determining a minimum inter-vehicular distance for a platoon of transportation vehicles obtains information related to a predicted quality of service (pQoS) of communication links between the transportation vehicles of the platoon; a speed of the transportation vehicles of the platoon; and one or more maximum decelerations of the transportation vehicles of the platoon. The method also uses a functional relationship between the pQoS, the speed, the one or more maximum decelerations, and an inter-vehicular distance to determine the minimum inter-vehicular distance.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may determine the subcarrier spacing and carrier frequency used by a user equipment (UE) for communicating with the base station. The base station may select a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration for the UE that is based on the subcarrier spacing and carrier frequency used by the UE. The SRS configuration may define the temporal spacing between repetitions of the SRS. The base station may indicate the SRS configuration to the UE so that the UE transmits repetitions of the SRS according to the SRS configuration. The base station may measure the SRS repetitions from the UE to determine the Doppler frequency for the uplink channel. The base station may use the uplink Doppler frequency to select a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration for the UE.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing global navigation satellite signals, or radar signals, specifies an arrival time of a signal having a shape similar to a known pseudo-random noise sequence (PRN) of rectangular pulses. Two quadrature signals are generated and six correlations are calculated and multiplied by a correlation coefficient. The results of one of quadrature signals are summed and a timing error is estimated. An improved signal arrival time is generated by adding the estimated timing error to the predicted signal arrival time is generated.
